SRINAGAR, Aug 29: In a meager monthly salary, Bhats at Soura managed a
desktop for their tech-savvy son, Umar Qayoom Bhat, who remained glued
to it for most part of the day except for Namaz intervals. But
sloganeering outside on last Friday beckoned him towards the market
only to add 64th teenaged victim to, what seems, an unending cycle of
killings in Kashmir.
“He had recently joined a computer institute and seeing his interest
in computers we got him a computer, though we are not financially
able to afford one. He used to spend most of the time indoors at the
computer and would move out only to offer prayers in the Masjid five
times a day. He was associated with Tableeg-e-Jammat and this Ramazan
he was interested in going for Aitiqaaf (religious seclusion observed
in the holy month of Ramazan) but he is no more to do it,” said
Fareeda Bhat, mother of Umar, told Kashmir Times.
Middle aged mother of 17 year old Umar speaks with a heavy heart but
his father, Abdul Qayoom Bhat—a watchman by profession—is not in a
position to open his lips. His one elder and two younger sisters too
are in a state of shock since his killing at a tender age. Umar had
recently matriculated with a good score and was presently Roll no 222
in 11th standard in MP higher secondary school’s commerce department.
“He joined college because two of his friends had joined the stream.
He wanted to study and we too were interested in his continuing the
education. He was the only hope for a better life in the future,”
Fareeda said.
On the fateful Friday Umar offered prayers in the nearby Malik Sahab
Masjid. People staged protest demonstration in the market outside and
Umar went along with his friends to have a look. Suddenly, police and
paramilitary CRPF chased at the protesters but Umar could not run away
fast.
“The police and CRPF men lifted him by legs and arms. He was thrown
thrice at the closed shutter of a shop and then they trampled him
mercilessly. He fell unconscious and police took him to the police
station,” Umar’s maternal uncle, Lateef Ahmad, narrated.
Badly bruised Umar was kept in custody for nearly 24 hours without
treatment. His family unsuccessfully pleaded to the police officials
for his release but the police denied.
“We went to see him on Friday evening and he complained of uneasiness
inside his body. We pleaded Station House Officer, Majeed,
and sectional officer, Zahoor Ahmad, to release him so that we could
take him to the hospital but he declined it on the assurance that they
would themselves take him for treatment,” said Lateef.
But it did not happen and instead, according to the family, he was
tortured in the lockup during the night.
“Next morning when we went to seek his release he told us that he was
tortured at 1A M. He had fresh wounds in chest and right shoulder,”
Lateef revealed.
Umar’s release was still not easy for the family. On Saturday morning
he was first taken to magistrate for bail and then made to wait in
lockup till 7 PM for, what police told the family, deposing before the
senior superintendant of police.
“In the morning we were told that he is to be presented before
magistrate for bail but once that was done they took him to police
station again. This time they gave the reason that he was to depose
before Senior Superintendant of Police. SHO asked us to come at 6 PM,”
Lateef said, adding, “Umar was finally released at 7 PM.”
Umar continuously complained of uneasiness in the viscera organs and
in throat and he was not able to eat. His family took him to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences for treatment on Sunday morning where he was discharged after medical examination.
“His limbs were x-rayed and doctors said he is all right,” Lateef said.
But Umar was not well.
“He vomited out blood immediately after taking dinner on Sunday. And
same happened on Monday which forced us to take him to SKIMS again,”
Lateef said.
Medical examination revealed that Umar’s lungs had collapsed, as also
mentioned in his death certificate, and he was in need of immediate
treatment.
“Doctors said he was more critical than any other injured in the
institute,” Lateef recalled.
He was put on ventilator but he could not survive beyond Wednesday.
Umar’s funeral procession also came under fire from the police and
CRPF and 18 people were injured in the police action.
“Umar was laid to rest by four persons who could make it to the grave
yard,” Lateef said.
For Bhats the tragedy did not end here. Police, according to the
family, is refusing to register an FIR in the case.
“We have been approaching the police but they are dilly-dallying.

The current puppet regime oversaw the Gang rape and murder of a Kashmiri teenage girl of 17 yrs Asiya Jan and her sister in Law (Brothers wife) by the Slum Dog army in shopian on 29 of May 2009.As a matter of fact I was in Kashmir those days and we protested against the gruesome act.Rape and murder was not a new weapon against Kashmiris ,we had seen gangrape of a whole village namely KUNAN POSHPORA in 90's where from 13 yrs to 80 yrs of Kashmiri women folk were raped by the savages of India.Kashmiris saw rape of a mother and a daughter as well during the regime of Mufti as well.This double rape and murder was unique as the head of this puppet regime rubbed salt on the wounds of Kashmiris by denying rape and murder and labelling it as a ploy to malign the image of the occupation army.Shopian stood against it and teached this moron a lesson.A retd judge who was asked to probe into it reported that the teenager Asiya Jan who was still a child of 16-17 yrs and Neelofar Jan 22 yrs ,A mother of 1 year old infant had been raped and murdered.Doctors also confirmed the same during the post mortom of their bodies but were first forced to mislead people.

After Justice jan confirmed rape and murder ,The puppet govt.with the help of its masters brought an Indian agency to probe this grusome episode.kashmiris rejected this agency as it is well known for covering their army.So as expected this rag tag agency not only excluded rape and murder butcharged lawyers doctors with ' CONSPIRING AGAINST INDIAN NATION' Kashmiris are not Indian so how funny it sences when a Kashmiri is charged with such nonsence charge.

'I would like to say that the provisions of AFSPA are very pious to me and I think to the entire Indian Army. We have religious books, there are certain guidelines which are given there, but all the members of the religion do not follow it, they break it also, does it imply that you remove the religious book or you remove this chap. My take on it is to find someone guilty, take him to task, but don't touch this pious document or provisions of AFSPA' ____ Lt. Gen BS Jaswal.
Before we move on to make a dispassionate analysis of the Indian Army's Northern Command Chief's statement on AFSPA, it is in place to mention that Armed Forces Special Powers Act, which contributes to the climate of impunity (from legal action) for armed forces in J&K and which is in operation since 1990, is an amended form of Armed Forces Special Powers Ordinance of 1942 of imperialist British which Viceroy Lord Linlithgo brought in force on 15 August 1942 to quell 'Quit India Movement". The Act gave unbridled powers to the British troops. The British left but waking up to the dawn of freedom, India not only preferred to live with it, but added more canine teeth to it in an amendment in 1958.
General Sahab's comment has evoked a widespread condemnation from human rights groups, civil society, media and leadership from across the political and ideological divide in Kashmir. But I think General should have been applauded for making a candid expression. To give vent to what authorities in India and its think tanks and media, even its civil society, do believe in but have reservations in admitting in public. He has blown off the covers of double-speak and shown how Indian Army is 'divinely' operating in Kashmir. While Delhi goes in sync with his line of thinking, its democratic veneer doesn't allow it to speak in General's tune. While it pussyfoots, the General puts up the brave, smart and honest face. We salute General for his moral courage to speak from his heart. Why should knives be drawn against the commandant when what he said has had the blessing, backing and support from Delhi.
General's penchant for his unalloyed expressions reminds us of his press briefing at his Udhampur headquarters. Where he, above other things, equated frequent street protests and shut downs with 'agitational terrorism' and thus 'a cause of worry' for India and advocated for 'presence of security forces till the threat of re-emergence of militants is totally eliminated' (GK: November 01, 2009), This statement in itself reveals the intent behind in having AFSPA "guide" the forces in 'disturbed' area. Read it with his latest, there is no fudge, no ambiguity. The 'cause of worry' is not militancy, it is the people, agitating on streets, though not with guns in hand but entire world of innocence to put up before the bullets and tear gas shells that is a new breed of "terrorism" AFSPA has to take care of after militancy stands defanged and made visibly invisible.
This 'cause of worry' has equally been shared by the political establishment and opinion moulding class in Delhi who endorsed it being pro-actively silent. It is not an "error of judgement" made by the General that needs second look. It is his conviction that gets mirrored in his statement. He is unambiguously clear and, yes, truthful to hold and make us believe that Armed Forces in Kashmir are pitted against the rebel Kashmiris to wean them off 'secessionist' fold and win them in lap. And for this Yudh the Generals would find 'entire nation at their back'. That is why tragedies like Nadihal, where three Nadihal youth after being lured for employment, were killed by troops at Machil (Kupwara) near LoC for promotion and gallantry award, do not cause ripples in the political waters of India and meet frigid response from its Civil society.
That said and done, General's 'pious' remark does not hinge on reason. It is terribly unconvincing. Comparison of the black law with religious scriptures and lending it the touch of holiness is incomparable. Religion curbs animal instinct and values life and calls for its protection.
When have mortal souls graduated to the level of gods where what they say has religious sanction. Which angel from God has descended on General Jaswal to reveal onto him His blessed scripture? Or, has His Lordship in the Heaven been given up to the "Lord" of this part of the planet to claim "divine" robes. And then you claim to be a 'disciplined' force of a 'secular' country where enactment of all laws and their execution is all man-made. And subject to exigencies of time and circumstances. Only those laws are allowed to stay which are pro-people.
AFSPA is a man-made law, not a pious document. As laws keep changing, amendments are being made in them or their revocation sought and done when their lethal toxicity becomes unbearable. Indian constitution is held a sacred document and any infringement of it makes the offender liable for legal action. But if too did not preserve its "virginity". Near about hundred amendments in it are a testimony of man's limitations. Its vulnerability to foresee future. Perhaps General believes in "honor" killing so as to protect the sanctity of institution of unaccounted power and quell the dissent on continuation or revocation of the dreaded law.
The "sanctity" of the law, the brainchild of colonial British was first challenged by Gandhi himself and his Congress. Their 'agitational terrorism' too was sought to be curbed by promulgation of AFSPA. So there is nothing holy in the law. See how aggressive nationalism blinds the eyes. Indians under the Gandhian leadership voicing their anger against 'agitational terrorism' the law loses its holiness, Kashmiris and civil society doing the same is sacrilegious. That reveals India approaches Kashmir copying Lord Linlithgo. And General is on right track in having an honest appreciation of the situation that prevails in Muslim majority parts of Kashmir.
Holy legislations do not differentiate people on colors, race, region, and creed. Their holiness encompasses all. If provision of AFSPA are pious, why not make a proclamation by Prathiba Patil and introduce it throughout India so as to meet demands of equitable justice. The fact of the matter, however, is that AFSPA snatches life, dignity, and honor of people. And that is the "commodity" that fetches cheap in Kashmir.
We know Delhi resorted to a 'constitutional' route in bringing Muslim majority regions of the state under the ambit of black laws. Disturbed Areas Act and AFSPA were invoked in Governor and President's rule and when NC government took over in 1996 it not only continued with these acts in the valley but also extended these to Muslim majority areas of Jammu. True AFSPA was not droned by Delhi on Kashmir, it pursued 'legal means'. But the question is why rulers in Delhi do not listen to the 'elected representatives' when they express their disgust and anger over the continuation of these laws and press for their revocation. Why it is other way round when it doesn't suit Delhi. Omar Abdullah has unequivocally registered his dissatisfaction on AFSPA and has made a strong pitch for changes in it to make it more transparent. . 'Because of the AFSPA because it is built for the armed forces', believes Omar Abdullah, 'Army is the judge, jury and hangman. Therefore, there is absence of transparency as a result of which people have lost faith in the syatem' (GK 6 June, 2010). Not only this, he has raised 'question marks' over the 'encounter killings' in the backdrop of recent Machil fake encounter. That amply demonstrates "holy" character of the AFSPA

A wife's appeal for justice

I am the wife of Mohammad Afzal, the man accused of conspiring to
attack the Indian Parliament on December 13, 2001. Afzal has been
condemned to death by the Sessions Court Judge, S N Dhingra and his
death sentence has been confirmed by the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi.
Now the case has come up before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.
All over India people have condemned the attack on Parliament. And I
agree that it was a terrorist attack and must be condemned. However,
it is also important that the people accused of such a serious crime
be given a fair trial and their story be fully heard before they are
punished. I believe that no one has heard my husband's story and he
has so far never been represented in the court properly.
I appeal to you to hear our story and then decide for yourselves
whether justice has teen done. Afzal and my story is the story of many
young Kashmiri couples. Our story represents the tragedy facing our
people.
In 1990 Afzal was attracted to the movement led by the JKLF, like
thousands of other youth. He went to Pakistan for training and stayed
there for a little while. However, he was disillusioned by the
differences between different groups and he did not support
pro-Pakistani groups. He stayed there only three months without
getting any training. Afzal returned to Kashmir and he went to Delhi
to pursue his studies. He always wanted to study and before he joined
the movement he was doing his MBBS.
My husband wanted to return to normal life and with that intention he
surrendered to the BSF. The BSF Commandant refused to give him his
certificate till he had motivated two others to surrender. And Afzal
motivated two other militants to surrender. He was given a certificate
stating that he was a surrendered militant. You will not perhaps
realise that it is very difficult to live as a surrendered militant in
Kashmir but he decided to live with his family in Kashmir. In 1997 he
started a small business of medicines and surgical instruments in
Kashmir. The next year we were married. He was 28 years old and I was
18 years.
Throughout the period that we lived in Kashmir the Indian security
forces continuously harassed Afzal and told him to spy on people they
suspected of being militants. One Major Ram Mohan Roy of 22 Rashtriya
Rifles tortured Afzal and gave him electric shocks in his private
parts. He was humiliated and abused.
The Indian security forces used to regularly take Afzal to their camps
and torture him. They wanted to extract information from him. One
night the Indian security forces came to our home and abused all of us
and took away Afzal to their camp; another time he was taken to the
STF (State Task Force) camp Palhalan Pattan.
Some days later they took him to the Humhama STF camp. In that camp
the officers, DSP Vinay Gupta and DSP Darinder Singh demanded Rs one
lakh. We are not a rich family and we had to sell everything,
including the little gold I got on my marriage to save Afzal from the
torture.
Afzal was kept in freezing water and petrol was put into his anus. One
officer Shanti Singh hanged my husband upside down for hours naked and
in the cold. They gave electric shocks in his penis and he had to have
treatment for days.
You will think that Afzal must be involved in some militant activities
that is why the security forces were torturing him to extract
information. But you must understand the situation in Kashmir, every
man, woman and child has some information on the movement even if they
are not involved. By making people into informers they turn brother
against brother, wife against husband and children against parents.
Afzal wanted to live quietly with his family but the STF would not
allow him.
You should also know that the STF force is notorious in Kashmir for
extorting money from the people and they have become so infamous that
when Mufti Sayed became the Chief Minister he promised in his election
manifesto to disband the entire force. The STF is known for human
rights violations including killing people in their custody and
brutal, senseless, inhuman torture.
It was under these conditions that forced Afzal to leave his home,
family and settle in Delhi. He struggled hard to earn a living and he
had decided to bring me and our four-year old son, Ghalib, to Delhi.
Like any other family we dreamed of living together peacefully and
bringing up our children, giving them a good education and seeing them
grow up to be good human beings. That dream was cut short when once
again the STF got hold of my husband in Delhi.
The STF told my husband to bring one man Mohammad to Delhi from
Kashmir. He met Mohammad and one other man Tariq there at the STF
camp. He did not know anything about the men and he had no idea why he
was being asked to do the job. He has told all this to the court but
the court chose to believe half his statement about bringing Mohammad
but not the bit that he was told to do so by the STF.
There was no one to represent Afzal in the lower court. The court
appointed a lawyer who never took instructions from Afzal, or cross
examined the prosecution witnesses. That lawyer was communal and
showed his hatred for my husband. When my husband told Judge Dhingra
that he did not want that lawyer the judge ignored him. In fact my
husband went totally undefended in the trial court. When ever my
husband wished to say something the judge would not hear him out and
the judge showed his communal bias in open court.
In the High Court one human rights lawyer offered to represent Afzal
and my husband accepted. But instead of defending Afzal the lawyer
began by asking the court not to hang Afzal but to kill him by a
lethal injection. My husband never expressed any desire to die. He has
maintained that he has been entrapped by the STF. My husband was
shocked but he had no way of changing his lawyer while being locked up
in the high security jail.
It was only after the High Court judgement was pronounced he got to
know about the way the lawyer had represented him. Afzal refused to
accept the same lawyer for his appeal in the Supreme Court. I had no
way of getting Afzal a lawyer. I do not know anyone in Delhi. Finally
Afzal wrote to the Defence Committee set up for Mr Geelani. I am
annexing his letter. And the Defence Committee helped Afzal to get a
senior lawyer, Mr Sushil Kumar. However, the Supreme Court cannot go
into the evidence and so I do not know what will happen.
I appeal to you to ensure that my husband is not condemned to death
and he is ensured a fair trial. Surely your conscience will not allow
you to be a party to the death of a fellow human being who has not
been represented in the court and who has not had a chance to tell his
story? The police have made him falsely confess before the media even
before the trial started. They humiliated him, beat him, tortured him
and even urinated in his mouth. I feel deep shame to talk about these
things in public but circumstances have forced me. It has taken a lot
of courage for me to put all this on paper but I do so for the sake of
my child who is now six years old.
Will you speak out at the injustice my husband has faced? Will you
speak out on my behalf? I am of course fighting for my husband's life,
for the life of my son's father. But I also speak as a Kashmiri woman
who is losing faith in Indian democracy and its ability to be fair to
Kashmiri Muslims.

When I started writing this blog in 2008 after land grab agitation I had never thought that writing will be so tough and inflicting. To narrate the day today events which are heart rendering will give sleepless nights.The oppression in Kashmir the atrocities the decimation and the genocide is so fast that one can cannot concentrate on a single case .It becomes difficult to choose on what atrocity by the occupational army to write let it be cold blooded murder of Kashmiri Kid of Nishat,Shopian hapless women,Sopore plundering etc etc.The value of a life in Kashmir is nothing for the occupational army who just for fun shoot at Kashmiri Kids, lure them to a boat ride and then drown them in the middle of the lake.Beat them when they are busy in playing.The events in Kashmir made me understand that no one in this world is concerned about what is happening in Kashmir and with Kashmiri Muslims.If a protester is beaten by shies in Tehran its becomes a leading news in the world. Unarmed protestors are showered with bullets by the Occupational army of India namely Slum Dog army let it be Gow Kadal,Habbak.Kangan,Chilal Uri etc.No one is moved.There is no place for Kashmiris to seek Justice.Killers are roaming free,Rapists are looking for new prey.People are scared to go out as they don’t know if they will return back to their family or not.Spongers like Omar Abdullah and Sagar have become puppet representatives of Kashmiris.Whom to ask for help? Pakistan? No ,Pakistani President Zardari one day calls Kashmiri’s terrorists , Second day his foreign minister finds Kashmir's struggle for freedom just.Saudi Arabia who boasts to be representative of Muslim Ummah is busy in catering Indian PM for its business.Help is awaited from no where.Kashmiris have to themselves get up and throw the oppressor out.For this we have to be ready for sacrificing our lives.When we will be ready then only something can be done.If we want our children to live in a free country then we have to give our today for the tomorrow of our nation.We have to sit on the streets and protest the occupation until UN intervenes and sends military to save us from tyrant India. Jammu, Feb 25: Blaming opposition Peoples Democratic Party of having double standards, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Thursday countered the Opposition with figures on human rights violation proving that more violations took place in PDP regime and added that he was ready to release all stone-throwers if area heads and elders give written assurances.

Asserting that stone-pelting was confined to few old-city areas, Sopore and Baramulla town, the Chief Minister said infiltration level and militant activities had shown a spurt in 2010.

Reacting to Governor N N Vohra’s recent address to joint session of the members of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council, the chief minister, armed with figures, said he wished PDP members could listen to his speech in the House. “The day I became the head of the State, I decided not to dig the past but the way PDP has been behaving here, I was forced to open all previous files,” Omar said.

Accusing PDP of being dubious, Omar said in the Assembly they show one face and in the District Development Board meetings, they shower praises on the government. “I believe the face they show in the DDB is their real face,” he said.

The chief minister said he wanted the Opposition to play a positive role rather than create problems unnecessarily.

“They sought debate on human rights and were allowed. Debate means discussion one a one-sided speech. They should have patience to listen us too,” Omar said.

He said they labeled National Conference-Congress coalition as ‘PSA government’ and ‘Adam Khor Sarkar’. “One thing should be clear that I will not allow some 800 stone- throwers to take entire Kashmir hostage,” he said.

He said: “In PDP regime, 1231 PSAs were slapped on people in three years. My government has slapped PSA on only 370 people so far,” Omar said.

The chief minister said PDP labeled coalition government as ‘Adam Khor Sarkar’ (Man Eater Government) but added that the fact was that in PDP’s three-year tenure, 2205 civilians were killed. “In my government, only 94 civilians got killed,” he said.

Omar said PDP had been saying that a sense of insecurity had increased among the people as women were being raped and molested. “Let me start from Farooq Abdullah’s time. In Farooq’s sahib’s six year term, 11 rapes and five molestations took place but in Mufti Muhammad Sayeed’s time, 38 rapes and 37 molestation cases were registered,” he said.

The chief minister said during Ghulam Nabi Azad’s term as chief minister of the State, only 13 rapes and seven molestation cases took place. “Keeping this in view, if PDP thinks, we would bow before their lies, they are mistaken.”

He said PDP had been maintaining in the House that the government had adopted “bullet for stone” policy. “They have forgotten when Mufti Muhammad Sayeed was Home Minister, bullets were showered on peaceful protestors at Gow Kadal where 30 people were killed. They have forgotten bullets were showered on the funeral of Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq. How many records shall I open,” Omar said.

He said PDP talks about Zahid Farooq’s killing but doesn’t talk about the arrest of BSF man. “It was for the first time in 20 years that a trooper was handed over to Police. Can they (PDP) prove how many guilty troopers were handed over to police in their period,” Omar asked. “For the first time, International Human Rights Watch appreciated the State government for such a brave step.”

The chief minister said he was ready to release all stone-throwers if the area heads and Imams of Masjids would give him written assurance that those youth won’t indulge in such acts again. “If I receive assurance from the elders, I’ll release all stone-throwers tomorrow,” he said.

Omar said stones don’t hurt a politician but a poor man whose life depends on his day-to-day earnings.

The chief minister appealed youth to come forward and join the mainstream camp. “What for are you fighting? For the past 20 years, gun has not managed to move an inch of land from one place to other. How can stones help? Local bodies and Panchayats elections are coming. Come and fight these elections and raise your issues at a better platform,” Omar said.

He said stone pelting was confined to seven or eight police stations that include five police stations of old-city, Sopore and old town Baramulla. “So, it can’t be said that entire Kashmir is on boil. Kashmir is beyond these places,” Omar said.

He said 2010 has shown a surge in militant activities as well as the level of infiltration. “Year 2008 witnessed less infiltration. The level of infiltration increased in 2009 and it has shown a spurt since 1st January 2010,” the chief minister said.

He said security agencies had been directed to step up operations in Sopore area which witnessed increase in militant activities.

Omar reiterated that rehabilitation of youth who crossed over to Pakistan administered Kashmir in 1990s for arms training but now want to come back, was a must. “I have a proof that many youth are coming via Nepal on fake passports. We’re watching the activities of some youth who’ve come back. There are many youth who want to start their life afresh. They need to be rehabilitated,” he said.

The chief minister said the government was committed to address the issue of unemployment through Sher-e-Kashmir Employment and Welfare Program. “Unfortunately, PDP opposed this policy too. The policy is yet to be started but they opposed. I promise this police will be a success,” he said.

These touts when they sit in the OPD have connections with the 3rd class pharma companies who sell water in the injections .They bring them gifts in form of mobile Tvs, bikes as the agreement will be. The consultants get to and fro air tickets for prescribing the selected medicine. These people make a handsome money and still they ask the government to raise their stipend or salary.People are befooled by Kashmiri Surgeons and are incised for fictitious diseases. Hemorriodectomy has become a source of income for these touts..It is shameful to write what cheap practices these touts perform to befool the poor Kashmiris .The puppet govt.if as it says really cares for the people should terminate all these touts and on the base of the policy hire and fire should start health care on the basis of contract which can be renewed yearly depending on the performance Of the doctors. A strict vigil should be kept on the hospitals and a secretary should be kept for this purpose to deal with the complaints of the patients against the erring doctors.The erring doctor should be terminated immediately on finding him guilty of misconduct and Malpractice.Security also should be adequate in the hospitals so that no one can assault a doctor and if such a episode happens that guy should be booked under PUBLIC SAFETY ACT.Nothing is important that the health of a nation. Our nation is suffering in the hands of these So called doctors and we cannot do anything.
There are so many doctors who are willing to work and help their people but there are no jobs for them because these touts have occupied them and now are trying to blackmail Kashmiri people.People should socially boycott these touts and teach them a lesson.Govt should kick them out ,Bring a ordinance in the assembly and reform the Health care system in the state.Services of non kashmiri doctors can be availed after passing the ordinance in the assembly.As I said nothing is important than the health of a Nation.

At the time of the partition of the Indian Subcontinent back in 1947 by the hastily retreating British Empire, Kashmir was supposed to be acceding to Pakistan based on its overwhelming number of Muslims that made up nearly 80 percent of its inhabitants.
However, after some resistance by the ruling maharaja at the time and the subsequent foray of Pakistani forces into the territory that drew an immediate response from the Indian Army, the United Nations stepped in.
The UN Security Council passed Resolution 39 on Jan. 20, 1948, establishing a special commission to investigate the conflict. Subsequent to the commission’s recommendation, the Security Council ordered in its Resolution 47, passed on April 21, 1948, that the invading Pakistani Army retreat from Jammu & Kashmir and that the accession of Kashmir to either India or Pakistan be determined in accordance with a plebiscite to be supervised by the UN.
It has been over 61 years since that resolution was passed, and yet the people of Kashmir remain mired in Indo-Pakistan politics. The dispute over Kashmir had, in fact, led to two wars between the neighboring countries and has escalated tensions since. But recent events on the world stage such as the Middle East crisis, Iraq and Afghanistan have relegated the problem to the back burner.
Enter Muammar Qaddafi, the maverick ruler of Libya. Shattering protocol by speaking for 90 minutes instead of the allotted 15 in an address to the UN General Assembly, Qaddafi who was introduced in the General Assembly Hall as the “leader of the revolution, the president of the African Union and the king of kings of Africa” touched upon many issues, one of them being the current status of Kashmir.
Supporting the idea of an independent Kashmir, much to the embarrassment of Indian diplomats present, Qaddafi stated that “Kashmir should be an independent state, not Indian, not Pakistani. We should end this conflict. It should be a Ba’athist state between India and Pakistan.” The Indian delegation of External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna, Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao, and Hardip Singh Puri, India’s permanent representative to the UN in New York, seemed obviously discomforted.
Kashmir’s pro-freedom leaders on Thursday welcomed the statement of Libyan president at the UN General Assembly and urged India and Pakistan to resolve the Kashmir issue according to the wishes and aspirations of the people. And Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Reza Gilani talking to media in the eastern city of Multan last Thursday said that Kashmir is the core issue and without resolving it no durable peace is possible in the region.
Gilani added that dialogue was the only way to move forward for resolving all outstanding issues between Pakistan and India, according to the local NNI news agency. Pakistan, the prime minister said, will take up the issue of Kashmir and water with India during forthcoming talks. All this must be music to the ears of a forgotten people.
While Qaddafi’s outbursts have often been dismissed as an exercise in triviality, this latest suggestion coming from the Libyan leader should be validated by a fresh round of political maneuvers that would satisfy the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
Let the people of Kashmir decide their future. India, a democracy must not feel discomforted by the will of the Kashmiri people. And Pakistan should not assume that the Kashmiris would automatically accede to them. The Kashmiris are a proud people and the choice must be theirs and theirs alone.

Israel committed war crimes in Gaza

UNITED NATIONS: Israeli forces committed war crimes and possibly crimes against humanity during their assault on the Gaza Strip eight months ago, the head of a UN fact-finding rights mission said on Tuesday.
Richard Goldstone told reporters that his four-member probe panel “concluded that actions amounting to war crimes and possibly in some respects crimes against humanity were committed by the Israel Defense Forces.”
Israel reacted quickly, saying in a statement issued by its diplomatic mission in Geneva that it did not cooperate with Goldstone’s investigation. “Its mandate was clearly one-sided and ignored the thousands of Hamas missile attacks on civilians in southern Israel that made the Gaza operation necessary,” the statement said.
Goldstone, a noted South African jurist, recommended that the UN Security Council call on Israel to investigate possible crimes committed by its forces. The probe should be “independent and in conformity with international standards” and establish a committee of human rights experts to monitor any such proceedings.
If Israel fails to do so, then the 15-nation council should refer the situation in Gaza to the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, the summary said.
“The rocket and mortar attacks (by Hamas) caused terror in the affected communities of southern Israel, causing loss of life and physical and mental injury to civilians, as well as damage to buildings and property,” it also said.
Goldstone said Israel’s blockade of Gaza, which began prior to the assault, amounted to “collective punishment” for the 1.5 million Gazans, most of whom rely on aid to survive. The summary said that Israel’s Gaza operation was directed at the people of Gaza as a whole, not just Hamas members.
His report said Israeli forces “humiliated, dehumanized and carried out an assault on the dignity of the people in Gaza, through the use of human shields, unlawful detentions, unacceptable conditions of detention ... obscenities and racist slogans.”
It said the use of human shields is a war crime and that a court could find that the blockade of Gaza, which Israel continues to enforce, is itself a crime against humanity. Goldstone’s report also criticized Israel for firing white phosphorus incendiary shells over the UN compound in Gaza and its “intentional strike” on the Al-Quds hospital using high explosive artillery shells and white phosphorus.
The report said an Israeli soldier held by Hamas since June 2006, Gilad Shalit, has prisoner-of-war status and should be treated humanely according to the Geneva Conventions.
Following the release of the report, Amnesty International said the United Nations must act and bring those responsible to justice.
The UN Human Rights Council should endorse the report and ask UN chief Ban Ki-moon to refer it to the UN Security Council, said Donatella Rovera, who headed Amnesty’s investigation into the turn-of-year conflict.
“The UN Security Council and other UN bodies must now take the steps necessary to ensure that the victims receive the justice and reparation that is their due and that perpetrators don’t get away with murder,” she added.
Meanwhile, US envoy George Mitchell sought a deal on the thorny issue of West Bank settlements on Tuesday as he met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad in a bid to pave the way to resume stalled peace talks.

A bloody account of mass massacres

A brief chronological account of mass massacres in Kashmir that this area has witnessed and its people have suffered since 1931
The Dogra rule, followed by Indian occupation in 1947, is a bleak chapter in the history of Jammu and Kashmir. The Dogra rule, which continued from 1846-1947, is considered as the gloomiest period. Indian armed forces occupied a major part of Jammu and Kashmir on October 27, 1947 that is continuing to date. The Indian troops pursued the policy of suppression in a systematic manner to reduce the overwhelming Muslim majority in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. To achieve this objective Indian troops started the process of mass massacre. There are plenty of events and evidences to support this gory fact.
1931July 13:The people of Kashmir had been raising their voice against the Dogra usurpation of their land and as a result they faced brutal consequences. On July 13, 1931, a large number of Kashmiris gathered in front of the Srinagar central jail, at a time when the trial of a youth Abdul Qadeer accused of involvement in a case of agitation, was in progress inside the jail. The objective was to demonstrate solidarity with the young man. As the time for obligatory prayer approached a young Kashmiri stood for Azan (Call for the prayer) and the Dogra police opened fire on him, and he got martyred. Thereby, another youth took the place of the martyred young man and started the Azan. He too was shot dead. In this way 22 Kashmiris embraced martyrdom in their efforts to complete the Azan.
1947August 26: In June 1947, people of Poonch had launched a no-tax campaign against the heavy taxation of Maharaja. To curb the agitation, Maharaja Hari Singh, the last Dogra ruler of the state, ordered the use of brute military force. On August 26 the protesters were confronted by the Dogra-armed forces. The Dogra troops opened bran-gun fire on the huge crowd of 5,000 civilians, martyring and wounding hundreds of them.
October-November: Maharaja Hari Singh fled from Srinagar to Jammu on October 26th 1947, as the liberation activists were poised in Srinagar's suburbs to capture the city. On reaching Jammu, he issued orders to his troops and police besides the Hindu extremist groups, to kill Muslims found anywhere. The Muslims were asked to assemble in parade ground in Jammu so that they would be driven to Pakistan in lorries. While on their way, on October 20, 1947, eight thousand Muslims were massacred at Malatank Jammu. On October 22, 1947 at least 14000 Muslims were massacred at Saniya Jammu and 15,000 Muslims were gunned down near the bridge at Akhnoor.
On November 5 and 6, 1947, more than 100 lories, loaded with women, children and old men were taken into the wilderness of Kuthua forests. Hindu extremists and armed gangs were let loose on these innocent people and an unparallel butchery was perpetrated, killing thousands of them. Women were raped, molested and their valuables looted. All these bloodsheds were taking place in full view of the Indian army, which had by that time occupied a major part of the state. In another act of butchery, a large gathering of 25000 Muslims, in Miran Sahib and Ranbir Singhpora, were machine-gunned.
During migration to Pakistan in 1947, nearly 300,000 people were massacred in cold British daily "the London Times" wrote on October 10, 1947 in a report from its special correspondent in India that the Maharaja, under his own supervision, got assassinated 237,000 Muslims, using military forces in Jammu area. The editor of "Statesman" Ian Stephen, in his book "Horned Moon" wrote that till the end of autumn 1947, more than 200,000 Muslims were assassinated.
Right from 1947, the fury of mass killings is going on unabated. Kashmiris suffered massacres in 1965 and 1971. Since 1989, India increased its acts of brutalities and people were killed in mass groups. Some of the savage events are as under.
1990January 8:Firing at various places in Srinagar city, 17 people were killed. Enquiry ordered by then Governor Jagmohan. No outcome appeared. January 15: In Handwara town, the Indian army and paramilitary forces shot dead 17 unarmed civilians including one woman when troops opened unprovoked fire on peaceful protesters.
January 21: 55 innocent civilians were killed in the localities of Basantbagh and Gawkadal in Srinagar city by CRPF troops when more than 20,000 people took to the streets, defying curfew.
January 22: The Indian army and paramilitary forces resorted to unprovoked firing at Alamghari Bazar Srinagar and killed many unarmed civilians. The people had come out unarmed to protest against the military killings at Gaw Kadal in Srinagar. January 25: 26 civilians were shot dead in Handwara town of Kupwara district. The township was set afire by BSF after the latter was panicked by a bang. Some of the slain persons including women were roasted alive.
March 1: In order to halt massive demonstrations by the people, who were to submit a memorandum to United Nations Military Observers Group on India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP), Indian army opened fire at Tengpora bypass and Zakoora crossing in Srinagar, killing 21 and 26 demonstrators, respectively.
May 21: Seventy persons were put to death by CRPF troops near Islamia College Srinagar. The unarmed civilian mourners were carrying the dead body of late Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq, prominent liberation leader and father of APHC chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. More than three hundred people were injured. Five women, one of them pregnant, were killed. Even minors were not spared. The forces did not spare even the coffin-bearers. The dead body of late Mirwaiz was also shot at.
August 6: The troops besieged Mashali Mohalla in Srinagar, raided the houses of local inhabitants and killed innocent civilians. In this incident more than two-dozen people were brutalized, of whom nine died on the spot.
August 10: BSF cordoned off the whole area of Pazipora, Kupwara. The male inmates were ordered to gather in a park for identification parade. The locals objected to let ladies stay at their homes without being accompanied by any male members. Later the forces, in absence of male members, entered the houses and raped and molested a number of ladies. By hue and cry of the ladies, the male members tried to rush to their respective homes in order to rescue the ladies from the clutches of the armed forces. But the troops fired on the unarmed civilians of the locality and killed 25 of them on the spot.
September 11: A civil passenger bus, carrying about fifty persons, was intercepted by the BSF troops. Passengers were fired upon. 22 died on the spot. The bus was set on fire due to which eight persons got burnt alive.
October 01: The BSF personnel in Handwara town of Kupwara district started indiscriminate firing on the unarmed civilians, who were busy in marketing activities, killing 20 of them on the spot.
1991January 19: The personnel of 42-CRPF opened indiscriminate fire, killing 11 civilians in Magarmalbagh, Srinagar. Most of the victims were waiting for bus and being a busy place, most of the passers-by received bullet shots and died on the spot. January 30: In Achabal Islamabad, the Indian armed forces opened indiscriminate fire, killing seven innocent persons.
March 11: At Rakhi Haigam, Sopore, in Baramullah district, Indian armed forces started indiscriminate firing, killing six civilians, including Manzoor Ahmad Dar aged only 12 years.
March 16: The Indian troops cordoned the area in Pishwari Trehgam in Kupwara district. At that time about 12 persons were offering prayers in a mosque within the cordoned area. The forces directed the worshipers to come out of the Mosque but they could not come out as they were engaged in the prayers. The forces entered into the Mosque and started firing. The Imam (Leader of the prayers) did not break the prayers. He was shot in his head. Other persons were dragged in the compound of the Mosque and six more persons were shot dead.
May 05: At Khayam, Khanyar in Sriangar, the troops fired indiscriminately on the pedestrians due to which, five persons including a girl, Aisha, aged three years were killed.
May 8: In Pir Dastgeer, Khanyar locality of down town Srinagar, troops of CRPF, BSF's 2nd and 60th Bn opened fire on thousands of people who were assembled to bury some martyred Kashmiris. 18 civilians were killed. In this incident, one infant aged two years, and his father were also killed..
June 11: The CRPF troops opened indiscriminate fire, having been frightened by the sound of a tire burst, leaving 32 civilians killed in the densely populated area of Chotabazar, Srinagar. The killed included, shopkeepers, passers-by, old persons, women and children.
September 03: At Safanagri and Nelora in Pulwama district, the armed forces fired on unarmed civilians and more than 23 got killed.
1992April 2: In Aloosa village of Bandipore tehsil of Baramullah district, the villagers were kept confined to the village limits for the whole day by the Indian troops, while those out for fishing were fired upon. At least five boatmen were killed in the firing. Many bodies were recovered from the Wular Lake as they had been made to sink by tying heavy stones to their limbs.
April 13: During early hours of the day, BSF troops charged into the area, comprising Mohalla Hajama, Talian, Syed Sultanpora, Mahrajpora, and Chinkipora, started indiscriminate firing which resulted in killing of 13 civilians including one woman.
July 2: There was a tyre burst of a moving vehicle, which created a panic in the crowded market of Lal Chowk Srinagar. In response the CRPF troops, posted at Hari Singh High Street, fired indiscriminately, killing six civilians.
July 6: The BSF men subjected Ishbar locality in the outskirts of Srinagar to indiscriminate firing and at least 7 civilians were killed.
July 13: Army personnel entered the village of Nasrullahpora, adjacent to Budgam, and started indiscriminate firing, killing ten innocent people.
August 15: In Taj Mohalla of Tral in Pulwama district, BSF troops killed 6 civilians in cold blood. One of them was burnt alive. October 2: 10 civilians were killed in Handwara town of Kupwara district by BSF troops.
December 12: Indian troops killed 7 civilians in Kishtwar area of Doda district.
1993January 6: 94 BSF-Bn personnel ran amuck, killing 57 civilians, mostly roasted alive, when they set ablaze 37 residential and 35 commercial structures at Sopore in Baramullah district.
April 10: 47 innocent Kashmiris were burnt alive when BSF set afire, most of the Lal Chowk, Srinagar, destroying 59 houses, 190 shops, 53 godowns and 2 office complexes.
July 01: In Baba Reshi area of Baramullah district, the troops started indiscriminate firing and killed 9 civilians who had come to the shrine.
July 30: In Hangubutch, Pulwama district 12 civilians were killed and 100 injured. A magisterial probe was announced but never completed.
August 01: Sub inspector Ajmer Singh of BSF, 60Bn along with three of his subordinates, killed a couple Abdul Rashid Dar and Hajra after barging into their residence in Daribal Srinagar. Their critically injured son Hilal succumbed to wounds in hospital. After thousands of people took to the streets in anti-India demonstration, the police and army resorted to firing, killing 10 of them.
August 14: Indian secret agents dragged out passengers from a bus on Sarthal link road in Kishtawar, Doda and sprayed them with bullets, killing 14 civilians. October 22: Troops of BSF 7Bn opened fire on a procession in Bijbehara town of Islamabad district, killing 50 and injuring 100 civilians.
November 20: At Aadipora, in Sopore area of Baramullah district, the BSF personnel opened fire and killed five persons including a woman.
November 24: In Sangrama in Baramullah district, the BSF troops fired indiscriminately and killed seven unarmed civilians.
December 22: At Bulbul Nowgam in Shangas area of Islamabad district, the Indian troops fired indiscriminately, killing six civilians.
1994January 24: Indian troops killed 18 Kashmiris in Kupwara.
May 10: In Bandipora BSF troops, during crack-down, arrested 9 persons in presence of the locals, took them to a military camp in Bandipora where they were killed and their dead bodies were handed over to their relatives.
1995February 10: BSF opened fire in narrow business street, in Gad Kocha, Srinagar, killing 6 shopkeepers and injuring 38 others.
1996January 5: Indian armed agents massacred 15 Kashmiris, 10 of them belonging to one family, in Barshala village of Doda district. June 8: In Kamlari village of Doda district, Indian armed agents killed eight civilians.
1997 March 20: Seven civilians were killed in Sangrampura (Budgam).
April 7: A group of Indian secret agents swooped on Sanghrampora village, in Beerwa outskirts in Budgam district, and shot dead seven Kashmiris.
April 18: 27 civilians were killed in Prankote in Udhampur district in Jammu region. September 19: In mortar shelling by BSF, 11 villagers were killed in remote village of Arin in Baramullah district.
1998January 26: Indian agents swooped Wandhama village of Ganderbal tehsil in Srinagar district and massacred 26 Kashmiris.
June 19: 25 civilians were killed in Chapnari area Of Doda district in Jammu region. June 28: In Madwa, Doda 9 villagers were massacred by 26-Rashtriya Rifles, on the Eid (Muslim festival) day.
July 28: 16 civilians were killed in two villages of Doda District in Jammu region. August 3: Twenty civilians were killed in Sailain village of Surankote, Poonch. The dead included seven children.
August 8: 35 labourers were killed in Kalaban on Jammu-Himachal Pradesh border.
1999February 20: Four civilians were killed at Muraputta-Rajouri, nine at Barlyara-Udhampur and seven at Bllala-Rajouri in Jammu.
February 20: In Baljaralan hamlet of Udhampur district, Indian armed agents killed 10 civilians. Apparently, the same group reappeared in Mora Pota in Budhal belt, and killed 4 members of a family.
June 29: Indian troops and their agents dragged out 17 civilians, including 5 women and 7 children, in twin hamlets of Morha Bichai and Sahotri in Poonch and killed them. June 30: Fifteen labourers were killed in Anantnag district of south Kashmir.
2000February 28: Five civilians were killed near qazigund in Anantnag district of Kashmir.
March 17: Indian secret agencies killed 7 truck drivers near a BSF camp at Qazigund in Islamabad district.
March 20: 35 civilians were massacred at Chatisinghpora in Anantnag.
March 24: Five innocent civilians, missing since March 24, 2000, were killed in custody and subsequently roasted by army at Brakpora in Islamabad district.
March 30: 7 protestors were killed by SOG troops near Pathirbal in Islamabad district, who were demanding dead bodies of Brakpora massacre.
May 14: Five teenagers, arrested from Sopore, were killed by Indian troops in Tangdar area of Kupwara district.
August 1: 35 Amarnath Yatris (pilgrims) were killed by Indian secret agencies and CRPF troops at Pahalgam in Islamabad district.
August 1: 31 civilians were massacred at Pahalgam in Anantnag.
August 1: 27 labourers were gunned down in Qazigund and Achabal in Anantnag.
August 2: Seven people of one family were killed in frontier district of Kupwara in North Kashmir.

July 22: 12 people were massacred in Cheerji and Tagood in Doda district of Jammu.
August 4: 15 villagers were killed in Ludder-Sharotid Har area of Doda.

December 8: 10 unarmed civilians, including women and children, were killed in the indiscriminate military firing in Baramullah.

The CM went on record the very next day that it was a mere case of drowinig and that he was only initiating an enquiry to satisfy the ego of the angry Kahsmiris. It was the fateful day of 29th of May 2009 when Two women from a same family in a town of Kashmir left for collecting fodder for their cattle from their orchards. One of the woman was a married woman a mother of a male child with 2 months old fetus developing inside her womb. This 22 year old woman Neelofar was in her peak of happiness and had wished her second child to be a girl. Little did she know that this was the last time she left home on her own and will never return alive. The another woman Asiya a 17 year old female, a brilliant student with a kind obedient soul.Who was the younger Sister of Neelofars husband.A Sister to be proud of.Who always helped Neelofar in doing household work.God had blessed Asiya with wisdom and a kind heart.She was a star in her school as she was a distinction holder in the Secondary school examination conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir State board of examinations.A child with a flight of productive ideas about future .This glooming light ,this meadow was crushed by the cruel hands of fate. A fate which she didn’t chose.
Both the women collected enough fodder upto 6:40 pm and left for home.They had been already late today and were in a hurry to return home as nelofar had to go to visit a obstetric specialist in srinagr next day as a part of her ante natal care.Asiya had also to go to private tutor early in the morning next day.The distance today seemed to be long and they felt that as if it is not going to end.engorged in these thoughts all of a sudden a slum Dog occupational armed forces party saw them.The men in uniform namely Shankar,Ram,Balbir,Dara singh started teasing them and halted their fast movement.Meanwhile at home Shakeel Ahmad the brother of Asiya and Husband of Neelofer called them and asked them to come home fast as it was getting late .Neelofar and asiya complained that Slum Dogs are teasing them and they’ll be at home in 15 minutes.This was the last time when Shakeel Ahmad could hear the voice of His beloved wife and his younger sister.
The slum dogs asked the women to halt.Asked them about their Id’s which they didn’t had.No women in a village has a ID card available in the fields.Then these women were encircled by the remaing slumdogs and asked what they have hidden in their fodder loads on their heads.They were asked to come with them to check their fodder loads at the nearby camp.These hapless women could not resist a patrolling party of 50 Slum dogs who are armed upto teeth.Even a brave man is helpless in such circumstances.Asiya started to weep but Neelofar tried to be brave and assured her that they’ll check the folder and then let them go but deep inside She was shaken to her core .Both the women were ordered to walk ahead of the slum dog party so that they can see them.On the way the dirty dogs were passing raunchy comments on the hapless women. At the Slum dog camp these women were asked to open the fodder as it is encircled by a grass rope so that it will not fell on the way home.Asiya and Nelofar opened it in a record time as they still were thinking that they will be allowed to return home. Slum dogs found nothing hidden in it and the women were asked to bind the fodder.
As nothing was found hidden in the fodder loads the due asked permission to leave but the slumdog officer sneered and told them that they have hidden it inside their clothes and need to be thoroughly frisked before allowing them to go.both women were escorted to a nearby room which accommodates
60 immates.Neelofar sensed foul as she was a more mature woman than Asiya covered Asiya with her
Body as she saw these dirty pigs staring at her.Inside Shankar and balbir tried to touch Asiya with bad intentions .Neelofar objected but was quickly slapped by Ram.Mean while Shankar and Balbir had caught hold of Asiya ,Asiya was resisting with her full force.Neelofar on seeing this understood that they were doomed and offered herself to save Asiya who was still a child. After that the time witnessed a horrible and barbaric gang rape of a Pregnant woman.She was violated again and again and again and again one after another until no one was left .Asiya watched all this horror and wept until her tear glads had nothing left.Mean while back home when the women didn’t returned upto 15 minutes.Shakeel Ahmad left in search of them .He searched everywhere but could not find any trace.The nomads near his orchard told him that the women had been there and left at the same time a slum dog army patrol party was passing through.Soon in the search He was accompanied by the Local police but up to late night no results yielded and all returned home.
In the Slum Dog camp After satisfying their lust the slumdogs took a break and kept the women in handcuffs attached to the iron beds .It was like a feast with Wine and women.After 2 hours the men in uniform remembered their prey Asiya who was still a virgin.In a record time the clothes of a child were torn apart by three savages and Asiya was given the treatment which words cannot explain.Neelofar again kneeled before them to leave Asiya Jan as she was a child and un married.Shankar brought Sindoor from a nearby Idol and put it on Asiya Jans forehead saying "AAJ TUMHARI SHHADI HAI" Today is your marriage and wedding night,The slumdogs subjugated her and violated her in a similar way as her sister in law but with more aggression.the thought that they are violating a Kashmiri Muslim girl was giving them more vigour.This was too much for Asiya and she was soon knocked off also she was bleeding from her private parts.The slumdogs hardly cared on the plight of their prey.It was their time and they wanted to make it a memorable event.At about 3 am this nightmare ended as no one in the camp was not left who had not violated these hapless women a multiple times.Now the question was what to do with the women.Balbir proposed to shoot them and throw the bodies.Ram was of the view that to bury inside the cam as this practice was widely practicized by the occupation army.Shankar opposed saying these days we should not bury them or shoot them but to kill them without any visible wounds and throw the bodies near the banks of the nearby stream.All agreed.Then these savages had another round of alcohol and approached the subjugated women with the intention of killing them.Both women were already hand cuffed .Balbir and Ram TO BE CONTINUED INSHALLAH

The grandiosity of Indian’s always gets shattered when they are shown their right place in the developed countries. Firstly no country agrees to give them a tourist visa individually as is given to others fearing that they will create a slum on the road sides of the host country. Moreover these Indians are abused and derogatory remarks are passed on them everywhere because of their slum dog origin. A few days back these Indians were crying foul about the treatment they received at a French airport, when all other transit passengers were accommodated in nearby hotels but they were not allowed to enter France and were forced to spend the night in a transit lounge because French immigration officers refused to give them Transit visa. This is the value and respect of these people get .Now let’s take Australia. Indian Prime Minister told Australian Prime minister to take action against the culprits attacking Indians in Australia. Despite of His assurances Indians are still stabbed, beaten, Petrol bombs are hurled and much more.A cousin of an Indian cricketer H.singh has on the record said that “those aspiring to go to Australia should stop and refrain from coming”.This is what we can say is Gods calamity.Indians are now urging UN to save their people,Same UN whom Kashmiri people very now and then

Since 1947 India is trying its best to crush the voice of dissent in Kashmir with brute force.Indian agencies have opened unlimited fronts to make Kashmiri’s dependent on the Rag tag Indian resources. Kashmiri’s who used to have maize bread and locally cultivated vegetables during the summer ,used to store food for the winter .used to dry the vegetables like brinjals, tomato’s, pumpkins.Fish.,variety of beans.Nothing was been imported from outside even if there was some it was in less quantity and it used to come from Rawalpindi under British India.After the occupation army of India took control of Kashmir India opened floodgates of conspiracies against Kashmiri’s in order to change their lifestyle in such a way that they will can never survive on their own resources. Firstly India started providing 3rd standard rice under subsidy .When peoples tummy got full with that ( BECHA BATA) rice they forgot maize. People started constructing houses on paddy then maize fields. Even when Sheikh Abdullah cautioned Kashmiri’s about this RICE CONSPIRACY people had already got used to the rice syndrome and called Abdullah as “POTATO Abdullah” as he advocated eating potato’s instead of rice as Russians do. This was the first step of India in making Kashmiri’s dependable on India.Then came its media who 24 hours a day broadcasts blasphemous talk shows ,Serials were nudity and extramarital affairs are shown to Kashmiri people. If there is a Hindu festival the media is in full swing to project the Hindu religion for days. But if there is a Muslim event or Christian, media dosen’t even mention it. In the news they saw that their president has greeted Muslims for Eid or Christians for xmas. It gives a scene that Hindu religion is the official religion of India and rest is nothing to be talked about. Movies are broadcasted on tv’s showing road Romeos subjugating women against their will ,TERE NAAM is an example. Kidnapping a girl and then expressing love etc.
Kashmir is a Muslim majority state and Jammu being no exception. Jammu also had a Muslim majority upto oct.1947.Indian occupation army and Hindu fanatics with the help of Patiala forces martyred 300.000 Muslims in a week hence changed its demography. Kashmiri’s being Muslims do not drink except a few so they don’t want liquor shops in Kashmir. But India deliberately gave permits to Dogra Hindus and KP’s to open alcohol shops in Kashmir to lure Kashmiri Muslim teen agers .When in 1990’s these thugs were forced to close ,India opened shops of Alcohol near a main slum dog army camp in Srinagar. All India wants to steal our faith as Muslims and make us Muslims by name only. The Muslims like Tajiks, Uzbeks, Kazakhs,Turkmens, Bashkirs, Tatars are the best examples to mention.The said people were not like that but the Soviet invasion of these their lands and the aftermath made them ignorant about their religion. India also succeeded in deviating Kashmiri's from their religion .

How much time these Indians need to understand that they are not welcome in Kashmir. They have occupied our country so has Pakistan and China. It is because of Rag Tag Indian policies towards Kashmir that our Country got divided between Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Jammu and Kashmir. We Kashmiri’s need to ask permission from the Indian and Pakistani foreign office representative in Srinagar and Muzzaffarabad to visit the divided parts.Its an irony that we the sons of kashmiri soil cannot move freely in our own country .Berlin wall which was built by the Soviets and America to divide GDR and FRG was brought down. Kosovo found itself independent. South Ossetia became a country so became Abkhazia. Isn’t the time ripe to cast India and Pakistan out of J&K and give it its much awaited independence. J&K should be same as it was on 14 Aug.1947

A newspaper in Indian administered Kashmir has ranked Indian soldier as the “most powerful person” in the restive region.

The newly launched weekly, Kashmir Life came out with a list of 10 most powerful persons in the conflict zone with Indian soldier kept at the top, followed by the 38-year- old chief minister of the state, Omar Abdullah.

Top hardline separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani has made it to the third place.

“Not worth a second look elsewhere he is the master of all that he surveys in the state,” the newspaper sates describing the Indian soldier as a ‘perpetrator’ adding, “It is the context of Distrubed Areas Act along with Armed Forces Special Powers Act which gives him unbridled authority without any accountability.

“Empowered by the system to deal with the situation he enters houses, cordons off areas and burns off houses as thoughtlessly as lesser mortals light a matchstick.” Indian troops have consistently been accused of grave human rights violations in India administered Kashmir in the last two decades.

India does not reveal the actual number of its troops in Kashmir, considered one of the highest miltarised region in peace times.

Rights activists say there are over 700,000 Indian troops and paramilitary troops in the region fighting an anti-India insurgency that broke out in 1989.

We have seen Geelani in assembly raising voice but falling into deaf ears of Indian politicians . So for Kashmiris especially who live in urban areas is a non issue, but the poor un educated people of villages can be convinced by these turncoats to vote by giving them some money or gifts or fake promises. This has been the practice from the day India betrayed Sheikh Abdullah and Maharaja and decided to become a republic instead of a federation. Kashmir acceded to India only to be in a federation .But India turned into a big tyrant country and forgot how it itself was subjugated by the British. The only elections whatsoever we want in Kashmir is referendum .Independence or India. that’s it. OPPRESSION PLAN 2009 OF INDIAN OCCUPATIONAL ARMY IN KASHMIR STARTED WITH COLD BLOOD MURDER OF TWO SCHOOL GOING CHILDREN OF KASHMIR

Sopur, Feb 21: Two youth were killed and another was critically injured when Army opened indiscriminate fire at Bomai here in north Kashmir on Saturday evening. The incident triggered massive demonstrations in the apple town with protesters demanding action against the accused troopers. Witnesses said the incident occurred when an Army convoy of 22 Rashtriya Rifles was passing through the area near Bomai. “The convoy halted near a bund and without any provocation opened indiscriminate fire on a group of youth walking there. Two youth died on the spot,” eyewitnesses said.The annual ‘Urs’ (festival) of noted Muslim saint, Hazrat Sheikh Hamza Makhdoomi, was being celebrated at the nearby Tujar village, the birthplace of the widely revered saint. Thousands of devotees visited the famous shrine on the occasion.The slain youth were identified as Muhammad Amin Tantray son of Muhammad Shaban of Bomai and Javid Ahmad Dar son of Muhammad Ismail of Muslim Peer, Sopur. Another youth, Firdous Ahmad Khwaja son of Abdul Ghaffar was rushed to SKIMS Soura in a critical condition. As soon as the news about the killings spread, thousands of people assembled outside the sub-district hospital here. Shouting pro-freedom and anti-India slogans, the protesters carried bodies of the slain youth in a procession to the police station. A group of protesters pelted stones on the police station. Police swung into action and fired dozens of tear smoke shells to disperse the mob. The protests were going on outside the police station till late evening. However, according to later reports, police and CRPF resorted to indiscriminate firing on the protesters injuring another five of them. They were rushed to Srinagar hospitals in a critical condition.“This is clearly a cold-blooded murder. We will continue the protests till the accused troopers are punished,” the agitated demonstrators said. Late in the evening, bodies of the deceased youth were taken by their families while the protesters dispersed.Policemen laced with batons and tear smoke shells have been deployed all over the town. To prevent the situation from aggravating, authorities imposed restrictions in various areas.When contacted, the deputy commissioner, Varmul, Baseer Ahmad Khan, said a magisterial inquiry had been ordered into the incident. “SDM Sopur has been appointed as inquiry officer. Law will take its own course,” Khan said.Despite repeated attempts, senior Army official, including its PRO, were not available for their comment.

I can understand the frustration of Indian leaders on the reaction coming after the views of British foreign secretary regarding Kashmir. Indeed good sense has prevailed among the leading powers and they have starting to realize that Kashmiris are oppressed people who are trying to feel their presence by tooth and nail. Indian leaders cannot swallow the bitter truth that they have signed a number of international resolutions on Kashmir and nomatter how many times they Sing the "internal matter" integral part" song ,It is not going to befool the world regarding its illegal occupation of our pious land. Recent frustration of India's so called foreign Minister Mukerjee is obvious. He is crying high in Kabul that Kashmir cannot be linked with Bombay attacks so that world will be distracted from the Kashmir as then they'll pressurize it to sit and negotiate seriously and not just as it has done in past 65 years. I don't know who and why attacked Bombay, All what I know that because of Kashmir Pakistan fought with India three wars. no one won them. In 1947 UN saved India, In 65 USSR saved it and in 1999 Clinton saved India from Humiliation. Kashmir has and was always a cause of friction between these two countries. No matter how many LOC points they open ,No matter how many times they'll use cricket diplomacy but nothing will change until the oppressed people are given their right of self determination .Obama during his campaign had promised to engage himself as a part of Clintons promise to take personnel effort in Kashmir issue during Kargil war. Now the time has come for that show. New secretary of state who is Clintons wife will also have to keep into the mind the cunningness of India, who every now and then tries to sabotage the freedom struggle in Kashmir. Srinagar, Jan 17: It was on this day in 2002 that troopers of Army’s Rashtriya Rifles picked up a chemist, Manzoor Ahmad Dar, at Hyderpora here. For the past six years, his family vainly tried to locate him in security camps, interrogation centers and jails. His family now pins hope on the chief minister Omar Abdullah who has promised zero tolerance to human rights violation. “It is my right to know what happened to my father and it is the government’s responsibility to locate him,” Dar’s daughter, Bilquees, told Greater Kashmir. On this day in 2002, Bilquees said, the troops of RR led by Major Kishore Malhotra barged into her house. They asked her father to accompany them. “We pleaded before the troops to leave him as those days it was their modus operandi to kill people after picking them. However, they dragged my father and bundled him in their vehicle. That was the last time when I saw him,” she said with moist eyes. “If my father has committed any crime, tell us. If he has been killed let us know where his grave is. I make a fervent appeal to CM to help us to get justice,” she said. Dar’s family went to Police Station, Sadder, which refused to register an FIR. People of Hyderpora alongwith the family staged demonstrations for days together to protest against the indifference of police. “However, our neighbors were scared when Major Malhotra reached the spot saying, ‘you can’t harm me, do whatever you want.” Some days later, the troops picked up Manzoor’s two friends and a youth. However, they were released after questioning. One of the youths after his release contacted Dar’s family saying he had met him in some camp at Lethpora in Pulwama district. “He (Dar) has been severely tortured. I could only talk to him as he and I were blindfolded in a cell. Later, we were separated,” Bilquees quoting the youth as saying. She said after a few months a caller identifying himself as Brigadier Baldev Singh asked her family to reach a camp at Airport. Bilquees alongwith her relatives went to the camp. Baldev Singh gave her Rs 2500 “for pursuing education” and said he has deputed teams to locate her father. Our close relatives distanced themselves fearing that troops might harm them. At times, we did not have even food to eat. However, we reserved every penny for locating father,” Bilquees said. The family had also knocked the doors of Court. The Court had summoned the accused Major Malhotra who according to the family has been promoted and posted as a Colonel in Assam. Despite summons and warrants, Army has not produced the accused Colonel before Court, the family said.

Some Questions about the Counter-Terror Operation at Jamia Nagar, New Delhi

*A team comprising activists, academicians and journalists visited the site of the police operation against alleged terrorists staying in an apartment in Jamia Nagar in the afternoon of 20.09.2008 (Saturday). Two alleged terrorists Atif and Sajid, along with Mohan Chand Sharma, an inspector of the Delhi Police's Special Cell died in the operation while a third alleged terrorist was arrested.

On the basis of our interactions with the local residents, eye witnesses and the reports which have appeared in the media, we would like to pose the following questions:

1) It has been widely reported (and not refuted by the Police) that in
early August this year Atif, who is described by the Delhi Police as the
mastermind behind the recent terrorist bombings in Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Delhi, underwent a police verification exercise along with his four roommates in order to rent the apartment they were staying in Jamia Nagar.

All the five youth living in the apartment submitted to the Delhi police
their personal details, including permanent address, driving license
details, address of the house they previously stayed in, all of which were found to be accurate.

*Is it conceivable that the alleged kingpin behind the terrorist Indian
Mujahideen outfit would have wanted to undergo a police verification- for whatever purpose- just a week after the Ahmedabad blasts and a month before the bombings in Delhi? *

2) The four-storeyed house L-18 in Jamia Nagar, where the alleged
terrorists were staying, has only one access point, through the stair case, which is covered by an iron grill. It is impossible to leave the house except from the staircase. By all reports, the staircase was taken over by the Special Cell and/ or other agencies during the counter-terror operation.The house, indeed the entire block, was cordoned off at the time of the operation.

*How then was it then possible, as claimed by the police, for two alleged terrorists to escape the premises during the police operation?

*3) The media has quoted 'police sources' as having informed them that the Special Cell was fully aware about the presence of dreaded terrorists, involved in the bombings in Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Delhi, staying in the apartment that was raided.

* Why was the late Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma, a veteran of dozens of encounter operations, the only officer in the operation not wearing a bullet proof vest? Was this due to over-confidence or is there something else to his mysterious death during the operation? Will the forensic report of the bullets that killed Inspector Sharma be made public?*

4) There are reports that towards the end of the counter-terror
operation, some policemen climbed on the roof of L-18 and fired several rounds in the air. Other policemen were seen breaking windows and even throwing flower pots to the ground from flats adjacent or opposite to L-18

*Why was the police firing in the air and why did it indulge in destruction of property around L-18 after the encounter?*

5) The police officials claim that an AK-47 and pistols were recovered from L-18.

*What was the weapon that killed Inspector Sharma? Was the AK-47 used at all and by whom? Going by some reports that have appeared (see 'Times of India', 20.09.08), the AK-47s have been used by the police only. Is it not strange that alleged terrorists did not use a more deadly and sophisticated weapon like the AK-47, which they purportedly possessed, preferring to use pistols?

*We feel that there are far too many loose ends in the current story of the police encounter at L-18 in Jamia Nagar. We demand that a fair, impartial and independent probe into the incident be initiated at the earliest to answer the above questions as also any other ones that arise from the contradictions of the case.

What was the need to make a passive programme for the month of Ramadan? Just because people are fasting! Fasting cannot be an excuse nor can be the examination of children. Have these leaders forgotten the BADR war ? If yes then it is very unfortunate. After our mass marches the govt of India was left clueless how to deal with the situation and it gave a free hand to its troops to suppress the masses on and after 25Th of august ,when according to Mahbboba Mufti ' MARTIAL LAW ' was imposed on Kashmir.The oppression opened the eyes of the world and UN castigated India and asked it to tame its occupational troops. A break of one week was sufficient for people to refresh themselves and collect all essentials at home for future days of agitation.,Mohalla committees should also have played a good role in looking after the poor people if any in their respective localities. But alas! Hurriyat conference chose a hartal policy for 1 month. They gave Police and other agencies a lot of time to torture and to prepare a counter freedom policy.Our youth are tortured brutally at police stations. Houses are raided ,women beaten, children thrashed but programme of Hurriyat is not changing. Why? Now Govt.of India has started recruiting a rag tag militia for suppressing the movement.Our own blood will be performing atrocities on us as it was always done from time to time. Please you people who claim to be our leaders wake up and call the masses out of their houses. tell them to sit at their own street not to move an inch. Stir the valley. Live on streets until UN intervenes, forget Pakistan. It will never support our freedom. All these countries want is our Land. We cannot allow ourselves to become slaves again.

After watching closely the mass peaceful demonstrations of the people of Kashmir for the freedom from India and the reaction that followed in India. I found people of India are being misled and taken on a ride by the enemies of Kashmir. It's very unfortunate that a common man in India doesn't know about the history of Kashmir, they consider it as any other part where as the UN considers Kashmir as a disputed area.When I say Kashmir it means whole Kashmir as it was on 27th oct 1947 when on that ill fated day Indian occupational troops put their feet on our pious soil.Jammu Ladakh are a part of Kashmir and not a separate entity. There is a lot of propaganda going on about that Kashmiris want freedom only for valley .No! we want our country back as it was before it was occupied by both India and Pakistan.
Lot of fuss is being created by the people in India about Kashmiris holding Pakistani flags. I feel pity on these people who cannot distinguish between a Pakistani flag and any other Muslim country flag. Lot of people have written in this regard ,I think it is worth to post photo of Pakistani flag and other green flag. I hope it will help to some extent pacify those communal people who say Kashmiris want to merge with Pakistan. Srinagar, Aug 14: It was in 1953 when for the first time, tri-colour was hoisted in Kashmir Valley by then Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Bakshi Ghulam Muhammad. This was disclosed by Ghulam Mohiudin Sofi, former political secretary of late Moulana Muhammad Sayeed Masoodi. Masoodi was the first Member Parliament from Kashmir. Sofi, who was trusted lieutenant of Masoodi told Greater Kashmir on Tuesday that prior to 1953 late Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah used to hoist state flag on August 15. “First time Bakshi Ghulam Muhammad hoisted the Indian tri-colour at Residency ground, now known as Municipal park,” he said. Sofi said that before 1953 not much importance was given to August 15, but after Bakshi took over, this day turned into an important day. “In 1953 Bakshi hoisted tri-colour and state flag but the state flag was on foot below the tri-colour,” Sofi said. He said Bakshi kept on hoisting two flags on August 15 till he was in power. “The trend of hoisting only tri-colour became a regular feature after Ghulam Muhammad Sadiq took over from Bakshi as Chief Minister of the state,” Sofi said. According to the historians in earlier days, the functions were held only in Srinagar and Jammu.

Would like to say its amazing website v nice pics but honestly Kashmir is even more beautiful its jus so special and incomparable. My parents come from Muzafarabad Kashmir so called Azad Kashmir I don’t consider it ‘Free’ until it is ruled by armies Pakistan on one side with sweetness and India on other side with brutality…. I first came to Kashmir Muzaffarabad Which is capital of Kashmir in 2001 and lived there for 3 years it has been a nice experience but I have noticed Pakistan army influence in al walks of life …. Every aspect of society has Pakistani stamp on it, I am not anti Pakistani but we have nothing to do with Pakistan or India InshAllah Kashmir will emerge as a separate state in world map one day.

Since the uprising against the Illegal occupation of Kashmir started lot of our country men fell to the bullets of the occupational army , I after reading the family conditions of the people who lost their lives, I felt a need to help these family's as much as possible. I think that the people living abroad Kashmir NRK's should now come forward to generously contribute to this cause.These days we all Muslims are fasting and asking Allah to forgive our sins. It is a high time to show love and kindness towards those who sacrificed their lives so that tomorrow Inshallah we and our coming generations will live free from the oppression and subjugation.I think we all must approach individually to each of those family's and enquire about their needs and try to provide financial assistance to them.We can contact the Mohalla committee of such family's also if we don’t want to approach them directly.The family of Late Ghulam Rasool Khan of Kupwara is and should be an example for Kashmiris .His one son attained martyrdom while fighting the occupational forces , second lost his hand while fighting the same occupational army ,Third Manzoor Ahmad khan, who was brutally shot in Baramullah on Friday 12/09/2008 .Sara ,the mother of Manzoor Ahmad, husband expired last year , the bread winning task was on Manzoors shoulders,. Manzoors mother Sara begum who is now of 80 yr's of age with a handicapped son and an unmarried daughter is looking towards us Kashmiris. It is our job to to take care of this great lady and her family. Sara is asking who will get now Manzoors un married sister married.This is a question for all of us and if we will remain mute spectators to this then no Kashmiri mother will think of allowing her sons to fight for the Kashmir's cause. If we really love Kashmir and our people irrespective of our position ,We should come forward at all levels to help the affected family's so that they will not say that the nation forgot us..

Addressing a news conference here Mann said, “Kashmiris should establish direct contacts with the companies like TATA, Birla, Reliance and others so that they can get rid of the intermediate expenses.”Mann said, SAD will be preparing a report on Jammu and Kashmir which will be forwarded to rights body, Amnesty International and all the embassies in New Delhi.The Sikh leader also condemned National Security Advisor, M K Narayanan statement about the killing of Hurriyat Leader Sheikh Abdul Aziz in which the former had absolved police of the allegations of the killing.Terming the attempt to starve Kashmiri people as genocide, Mann said, “Government of India is perpetrating genocide in Kashmir and Punjab and that is why Amnesty International and ICRC are not allowed to work in Kashmir.”He added that India is not a signatory to the International Convention for Genocide.Mann said that international democratic forces like United States should intervene in the issue of Kashmir as they did in the case of Zimbabwe, Somalia and other conflict ridden areas.“India allows war mongers like Israeli Army Chief Avi Mizrahi to visit Kashmir,” he added.After Mann was not allowed to meet the detained Hurriyat leader, Shabir Ahmed Shah, he said that New Delhi fears unification process between Hurriyats. “New Delhi claims that there is no single representative in Kashmir, and if Shah unifies the leadership they again have a problem. As the daughter of a Kashmiri Hindu, whose family left its ancestral home in Srinagar during the turmoil that followed Partition, I would like to express a sentiment that I still haven’t heard in the rhetoric about Kashmir.
I speak for those for whom Kashmir is not a symbol of one-upman ship with Pakistan, not a piece of a jigsaw puzzle that is intrinsic to the sovereignty of India and not a football to be kicked around by cynical politicians, but as the daughter of a family in whose very lifeblood Kashmir courses every moment.
Cut our hearts open and you will see Kashmir, put your ear to our sighs, and you will hear our yearning for the land where our family spent its last days intact and happy before Partition scattered us to the winds, rendering us refugees.
Growing up dislocated in Mumbai, as a child, it never failed to surprise me when people who often hadn’t so far stepped out of their suburb, would say:”Kashmir is ours! We will never give it up! Let them try and take Kashmir from us!”
Even at that early age, when I could have mistaken their jingoism for kindred sentiment, I realised that their virulence had nothing to do with my family’s love for Kashmir, but was misguided machismo.
And I would find myself seething with rage at the audacity of their presumption. “But Kashmir was never yours,” I’d say in my mind. And sometimes, when more provoked: “You don’t deserve Kashmir!” And then I’d go home to my mother, whose ever present, unshed tears for her homeland, were a leitmotif of our life in Mumbai.
Throughout my childhood, my family would go back to Srinagar (the ancestral home in Vazir Baugh had to be sold when my widower grandfather became too old to live alone) to stay with Muslim friends, with whom we shared a poignant empathy: we had lost Kashmir because we had moved away; they were losing it everyday, living there, witnessing its destruction. Over kawha, we would watch as the elders of our family weep for what had been.
Like a woman too beautiful for her own good, Kashmir was a tragedy even then. It produced an ache in our hearts when we heard its name and thought of its ill fate: and then, because you cannot sit weeping over lost Valleys all your life, when we returned home we put Kashmir on the backburner.
And on that backburner, Kashmir fermented Sheikh Abdullah, a man whose commitment to India was unquestionable, was humiliated, jailed, alienated. The most unimaginable genocide was committed on the people. Entire generations of its sons were mowed down by an army whose presence was as large as it was unpopular. And in its knee-jerk, misguided, ill-conceived approach to Kashmir the Indian polity revealed its shallowness.
But through this all, intrinsically, those of us who have Kashmir in our bloods, know that the Kashmiri Pandits who have been driven out of their homeland are not enemies of the Kashmiri Muslims, in fact they are both victims of the historic blundering of the Indian government’s Kashmir policy.
Take away Delhi’s political brinkmanship, take away the Hindutva sentiment that has played so neatly into the hands of Pakistan and its fishing-in-troubled-waters game and you may be surprised at how harmoniously Kashmir’s Hindus and Muslims can live.
So, on behalf of my mother, my family, and all those who have loved and lost Kashmir, I beg: Please. We have done enough damage to and in Kashmir. Enough to last many lifetimes. The chinars are tinged with too much blood. We have failed Kashmir and we don’t deserve her anymore. Leave Kashmir alone. Set her free.Email: s_malavika@dnaindia.net

It's no small irony that curfew had to be re-imposed in parts of the Kashmir Valley the very day the state announced a settlement with the Sri Amarnath Yatra Sangharsh Samiti (SAYSS), which ended the two-and-a-half months-long militant agitation in the Jammu region. The settlement evoked an apathetic or an adverse response in the Valley. The Kashmir Coordination Committee, comprised of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, and motley groups of traders and professionals, said it fails to address the real issue, azadi, and called a general strike. The People's Democratic Party called it "unilateralist" and "authoritarian".Yet, even the hurriedly reached Jammu settlement may prove a poor consolation prize. Had its negotiation taken on board the Valley's politicians, it would have had a more democratic character and wider acceptance. After all, the political and physical origins of the problem that triggered the twin agitations in Jammu and the Valley, and led to the unseating of J&K's government in July, lie in the transfer of Valley land for the Amarnath Shrine pilgrimage. The settlement is flawed. It reserves 100 acres of state land exclusively for the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board's use, thus barring sheep-grazers and other traditional users. It doesn't mention the land's return. And it compensates the Jammu residents for the economic losses caused by the agitation, but is silent on compensating the Valley people who suffered from seven weeks of a blockade which cut off essential supplies and despatch of perishable fruit. Had the Valley's representatives been involved in negotiating a fair agreement, they wouldn't have had the luxury of putting the onus for it solely on the state or Central government. The accusation that the government acted without consulting all sides to the land dispute is potentially open to exploitation to rank communal or narrow regionalist ends. But evidently, our policymakers have learnt very little from Kashmir's recent history, which shows that such potential will nearly always be so exploited.The Valley continues to seethe with anger. The turmoil shows no signs of abating despite the onset of the holy month of Ramzan. The unrest could yet again become a serious problem for India, with unpleasant implications for its fraught relations with Pakistan. In Jammu, the SAYSS has threatened to take up the issue of the region's allegedly weak representation in power structures and to fight for "justice". The settlement has not neutralised the political agenda of the Jammu agitators, many of them closely allied to the Bharatiya Janata Party. This agenda favours the state's polarisation along regional and religious-communal lines-and eventually, its trifurcation into a predominantly Hindu Jammu region, a Muslim-majority Kashmir Valley, and a primarily Buddhist Ladakh. Multiple blunders have brought J&K to this pass after six years of relative peace under an elected Congress-PDP coalition. After consciously encouraging the yatra, which led to a 25-fold increase in the number of pilgrims over 20 years, the government extended its duration to eight weeks-although the ice lingam survives for only two weeks. All this was seen in the Valley as promoting aggressive Hindutva "nationalism" to counter Kashmiri separatism. Then, in an ill-advised move, largely to placate Hindu-communal sentiment, the government illegally transferred forest land to the SASB. It failed to anticipate the Islamic-separatist reaction, and an even more militant counter-reaction in Jammu to the transfer's cancellation, leading to a violent blockade along the Jammu-Srinagar highway. It refused to lift the blockade until the entire pear crop in the Valley had perished. Meanwhile, the Jammu protests took on an explicitly political and communal character as the BJP fished in the troubled waters with an eye on the Assembly elections. Its rough acid-throwing methods drew an adverse reaction from the rest of India, which is one reason why it withdrew the agitation with relative ease. But the Congress didn't play much better. Its Jammu leaders were partisan towards the communal forces and openly joined the agitation.The display of trishuls and swords by the Jammu agitators along with the National Flag, their open espousal of Hindutva, and their demonisation of all Kashmiri Muslims as "anti-national" only added to the ferocity of the protests in the Valley, and put separatists in their forefront. In the second week of August, the J&K administration cracked down heavily on the Valley, entering people's homes, and arresting hundreds without reason. On August 11, it allowed a several lakh-strong procession to form on the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway, and then opened fire on it. Many Kashmiris say the government handled the Jammu agitation with kid gloves, but used brute force in the Valley against peaceful protests: "rubber bullets in Jammu, but live bullets in the Valley". By then, some 40 people had died in the Valley. This only heightened the alienation of the Valley's people from the Indian state and strengthened the separatists, bringing extremists like Syed Ali Shah Geelani out of the woodwork. It's as if Indian policymakers had deluded themselves that popular alienation had disappeared in the last few years with the return of relative normality: The Kashmir economy improved. Tourism boomed. The extremists were isolated. Issues of day-to-day governance became dominant. Why, even The Hurriyat was on the verge of deciding not to issue a call to boycott the Assembly elections, as it usually does!Better sense prevailed around August 15-18, when the government allowed peaceful protests, which are always spirited on India's Independence Day. Governor NN Vohra was determined that there should be no more firing. This had a salutary effect and encouraged the Hurriyat's moderate faction to adopt sober positions.Soon, however, National Security Adviser MK Narayanan intervened. He visited the Valley on August 20 along with the Intelligence Bureau chief and other hardline officials and criticised Governor Vohra for his "soft line" on the Islamic-extremists. Thus began the massive crackdown of August 24-25, when nine Valley districts were handed over to the army, newspapers banned, TV channels shut down, and mobile-telephone SMS services disabled.This cost the Indian state a massive loss of legitimacy. Yet, says Yusuf Tarigami, a Communist Party of India (Marxist) MLA, and a widely respected J&K leader: "Mercifully, popular alienation is not as severe as in the early 1990s, and may yet prove transient." There are a number of differences between the post-1989 climate and the present situation. Then, a variety of armed groups, including the indigenous Hizbul Mujaheedin, were hyperactive in demanding Kashmir's separation from India. They subdued the relatively moderate Hurriyat leadership. Pakistan armed and financed them, and lent them logistical support. The savage repression unleashed by Indian forces helped them build a support base. Today, militant groups can no longer recruit in the Valley. Until recently, extremists had become irrelevant. Kashmir hasn't been a live political issue in Pakistan since the peace process with India started. It still isn't. The most noticeable difference from the past is the bitterness and anger among the youth, who grew up in a climate of violence, humiliation and hatred in the 1990s. Yet, it isn't too late yet to rescue the situation. Contrary to what some critics argue, I take the view that the right to self-determination isn't an absolute right, and must be balanced by considerations of democracy, pluralism and the rights of "minorities within the minorities". It's also probably wrong to view the present, possibly transitory, popular mood in Kashmir as unqualified and categorical endorsement of azadi, especially azadi interpreted as considered support for a sovereign, independent state or for Kashmir's merger with Pakistan. And yet, business-as-usual is NOT an option in J&K. Hardliners like Mr Narayanan indulge in dangerous self-delusion when they declare, as he did on a TV channel on August 30, that Kashmir will become normal "in 10 days' time", presumably without a pro-reconciliation initiative. It simply won't do to underestimate the seriousness of Kashmiri alienation and disgust with the overwhelming presence of Indian security forces in the Valley. The Indian state must radically rethink its Kashmir policy. It must reach out to the Kashmiri people with the offer of a dialogue in earnest and put the issue of autonomy up-front on the table. Such a dialogue must include even extremist pro-azadi leaders.For a dialogue to succeed, four things are essential. First, an opening of the border with Pakistani Kashmir. This will not only facilitate trade and people-to-people exchanges, but also allow the Valley Kashmiris to critically evaluate the quality of life and politics in "Azad Kashmir". Second, genuine implementation and strengthening the special status for Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution, which has been greatly diluted. Third, discussion of the regional and interregional autonomy proposals made 10 years ago by the Balraj Puri committee, recommending devolution of power to local/regional bodies. And finally, a thinning out of the presence of Indian security forces in the Valley. The Indian state must gather the courage to take these steps as necessary preconditions to build confidence among the Kashmiris. Or, the Kashmir problem could soon become intractable.

People thinking that A billion dollar package is given to Kashmir are living in the fools paradise.Whatever they send to Kashmir,Firstly more than half of it they divert for Jammu,Remaining they divide between Kashmir and Ladakh.They always tried to subjugate us by their dubious policy of discrimination,oppression and brutal force.We were told India is a secular country and will be a exemplary democracy.Pakistan is a new born nation it has nothing to offer.Our prime minister late Rama Kak wanted Kashmir to remain a buffer state and advocated for Indepedence.Sheikh Abdullah being close to the Indian leaders because of their secular ideas believed Nehru and endorsed the disputed accession to India on the terms that Kashmir will remain as a special entity within Indian union.It will have its own Prime Minister,President,Judiciary,Constitution,A type of Indian federation.Cunning India agreed to these terms and gave it the name Article of 370.This article was also demanded by the Late Maharajha Hari Singh.He also wanted Kashmirs Identity and demography to remain unchanged.This article was a guarantor of India's promises at the time of accession.Unfortunately after 1954 when Sheikh Abdullah sensed rat He started objecting on day to day issues with India,Hence he was arrested and remained in prison for several years.The Kashmiri nation whom He befooled didn’t came to his rescue.Meanwhile while Sheikh was behind bars India made a puppet Prime Minister and started eroding the special status of Kashmir.During Sheikh the kashmir assembly had a power to vote for anything and the decession was binding on India.But while Sheikh gone India corrupted some polititians as Beg,Bakshi and changed the status of kashmir assembly.Posts of P.M and president were removed in 1954,Supreme court of India's Jurisdiction was applied on Kashmir.Kashmir assembly was degraded and now it could not be the same as before.It could vote and pass any thing, but then Govt.of India with its parliament were to take final decision.From that day we became a colony of India ,Slaves,who can be oppressed,Killed in cold blood with impunity.
Whoever raised his voice was suppressed ,Killed, put behind bars,public safety act was passed by which anyone could be detained upto 2 yrs without being tried in a court.These laws were applied to Supress kashmiris.People like Maqbool Bhat were tried on fake cases,Bhat was hanged in Tihar jail in 80's,He was a leader and his voice needed to be silenced.Even after hanging him the democratic India didn't returned his body to Kashmir's.We upto this day don’t know where he has been buried in India.Leaders who thought to try India's farce election 's ,Leaders Syed Salahudin,with his polling agents Yasin Malik,Javed mir etc.,were roughed up in police stations by Congress National conference government.Kashmiris rose again in 1990 and asked for freedom.Their voice was again silenced with un relented force of India.massacares,Burning alive people by Indian army,Burning houses with gun powder,Killing people in cold blood became order of the day.In Singh pora Pattan 2 kashmiri youth were roasted alive in dry paddy grass by Indian army.All because they wanted freedom from the slavery of India.As if this much was not enough India lured Kashmiri Hindus from Kashmir so that it can decimate kashmiri Muslim population so that later it can resettle Hindus both Kashmiri as well as Indian citizens on our land.This process is going on and on and on.Plus to it To achieve more and more benefits from India These fugitive Kashmiri Hindus started pouring venom against kashmiri muslims,They started telling false tales about their mass killings ,oppression etc.I recently went through a web site of these fugitives,What I read was shocking.They had written that Kahmiri Muslims raped their women cut their breasts etc.All slanders.no record for such thing ever happening in Kashmir.These Kashmiri Hindus are mischief mongers and nothing else.

Ossetian people overshadowed our affair.Russia who is a guarantor of peace and lives of South Ossetian people as per UN mandate of 1992 and Moscow declaration 1994 mobilised its 58th division of army and throw ed barbaric aggressors out of Tsinvali.Russia who really took a bold initiative against the aggressor and Psychopath president of Georgia Shaka svili.and recognized the South ossetia and Abkhazia as independent states.tsinvali which has nothing in it to be Independent.No resources etc.It relies on the tax on exit entry of people at its border with Russia.If such a small portion can see it Independent why Kashmir cannot be as such.
When India started its fresh wave of state terror in the form of Spraying bullets on peaceful unarmed Muslims of Kashmir.When Old men women children were Killed.When pregnant women were hit with rifle butts when children were taken to Bunkers of occupational forces and beaten to pulp.When under the cover of curfew"martial law' infants were denied milk,diabetic patients were denied access to purchase Insulin.Acute abdomen patient was not allowed to reach hospital until its appendix perforated.What was Pakistan doing.Were was its foreign Ministry.Why its foreign Minister or Prime minister remained mute spectators.Why it didn't called for an urgent UN session to denounce and end atrocities on kashmiri people.The people of Pakistan also why they didn't demonstrated against the gagging and starving of Kashmiris.Pakistan is not a banana republic.If it really considered Kashmiris its own people it could have gone to any extent to defend them.Russia considered the people in Tsinvali its own people and at any cost they saved them.I have many friends from different parts of Pakistan Such as Peshawar,Karachi,Punjab.SargodhaAlso I have friends from Muzzaffarabad,Bagh.I asked them the same question.What they answered me shocked me.They said India is behind all these bombings in Pakistan and the govt is very much scared of India now than any other time.I asked them then you want us to die of starvation.They replied that now onwards Kashmiris have to rely on their own.Pakistan is in no position to help them even diplomatically.Why ? there was no answer.I visited JKLF web site and found a video clip of Yasin Malik in some talk show on geo tv.There some Pakistani was commenting as if the solution of Kashmir problem was drafted last year during Kasuri's time and was only to be inked.Pakistan had accepted ceasefire line as International border.had there not been the sacking of (Thief) cheif justice the paper would have been inked.Yasin Malik is also in the same talk show and listening to these comments.If this is true then what are we doing. can some one pacify my apprehensions.

Kashmiri people are not allowed even emergency medical care.latest example is the beating of a pregnant woman namely Afrooza by Indian occupational forces. When she was having labor pain and was supposed to deliver a baby.She was first dragged out of the car and then severely thrashed.Troops hit her with rifle butts at her private parts and abdomen.She felt unconscious and bleed profusely.Some local people who had curfew passes who were passing by took her to the hospital where her condition and the condition of her un born baby is critical.A man was shot when he was going to buy milk along with his son at Dalgate.Both son and father were shot resulting the death of the father on the spot.The dacots (troops) barge into the houses of people and beat the old men and women,thrash children not to talk about young men. The arrogance of India can be estimated when its rag tag foreign ministry terms the statement of UN about Kashmir irresponsible. Whole world is irresponsible only India is a responsible nation with its communal and pseudo secularism.

Mazdek's communism and permissiveness,dissolution and anarchy had spread.What mental,spiritual and material contempt man-under that civilization had lived in.

In Byzantium conditions were no better.Caesar was surrounded with the same halos as Khosrau,and people were,as in every state of ideological ignorance,masters and bondsmen.There was a creed!- a pagan creed guarded by the church and the clergy:God is one of three!Christ was the son of God!Bishops and monks were lords ruling the domain of minds and spirits contrary to gods revelations and taking the property of people unlawfully;whereas,Caesar was ruling the physical domain in accordance with the Roman Law(i.e not in accordance with the divine law).People were servants of the pope and his Bishops and monks on the other.

Now let us tak about the 'great Indian civilization' at that time

In India,as every where else,there were lords and bondsmen.
But bondsmen there had a peculiar position.They were believed to have been created from god's foot,so they were considered unclean.They had to endure all humiliation,contempt and torture they underwent;for on the one hand,that was their fate;and on the other, it was their sole way to salvation through transmigration of souls.Man according to them,spends his fixed life,then his soul passes into another new body.If the enslaved untouchables were satisfied with their fate,surrendered to humiliation and carried out the hardest and dirtiest pieces of work,their souls might pass into other persons superior to slaves and get thereby to their pursued salvation,though they wouldn't acquire the rank of their masters who were created from the deity's head or arm!
There were countless forms of worship offered to countless deities,but they had one thing in common,that is-ERROR.
Perhaps the most curious thing was 'temple prostitutes'who stayed in temples for the sake of deity!No,for the sake of Satan! But stranger still might the 'cow worship'- men wallowing in its dung and bathing in its urine,Drinking its urine with milk,for the sake of obtaining purity and god's blessing!If cow could have spoken it would have laughed at its worshippers and would have been surprised to see man,whom Allah has honoured,satisfied with such degradation
Also there was a religion Buddhism, as in the Indian religions, the body was despised and tortured for the redemption of the soul, and worldly life was scorned and rejected for the attainment of immortality.Immortality! But where? And in what form?

Arabia was drowned in religious ignorance, like the rest of mankind,There were three religions, all of which were misguided. Jews, who were living in the outskirts of Medina,had distorted their 'holy book' centuries before, stuffed it with lies and legends,changed the divine Revelation and renounced it wholly,complying with their whims and interests.

There were, also, small Christian groups who held false beliefs, such as Trinity, the deification of Jesus or considering him a son of God.Arab idolators throughout Arabia worshipped idols which were placed inside AL- KA'BA, the Holy House of God (Allah), The place which prophet Abraham(A.S) and Ismael(A.S) had been ordered by Allah to build in order that Allah alone should be worshipped without ascribing any partner to Him.Yet, they claimed they were followers of Abraham(A.S).A variety of myths had nested in their minds.Angels, for example,were the daughters of Allah and they were worshipped on that account.The Jinn(genies) belonged to Allah and were, therefore, worshipped. Idols were carved and then worshipped by people.Many new-born girls were burried alive for the fear of shame or poverty.Women were scorned and wronged.Wine was drunk, games of chance (i.e maysir) were used to, and adultery was allowed.Life was spent in drinking, amusement and plundering raids.'Man' was 'Lost' as was his case in all states of religious ignorance.That was the state of the world about Mohammad (A.S) was sent to save mankind from the darkness of error.

In this extremely dark atmosphere there shone a light; it was Mohammad son of Abdullah,(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

The Jews in Medina, before the prophethood of Mohammad (PBUH), had often said to its inhabitants, " The time of a prophet has almost arrived. We shall fight with him against you and defeat you'.The Jews,in fact,depended in their claim upon the Torah, Which indicates that the old copies of the Torah not only mentioned Prophet Mohammad's(A.S) name and description, but also pointed to his prophethood and its approximate time.

Now what was the message from the God for the people send through Mohammad(P.B.U.H).What made Kashmiri Hindus to accept Islam.

A. The revelations of Allah in Quran which cannot be corrupted as Allah has openly challenged anyone to do it.

B- The equality among people.

The Quran, the last revealed word of God, is primary source of every Muslim's faith and practice.It deals with all the subjects which concern human beings: wisdom,doctrine,worship,transactions,law,etc,but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures.

At the same time,it provides guidelines and detailed teachings for a just society,proper human conduct,and an equitable economic system.

All people are from Adam and eve and are equal.

there is no one superior or inferior.race colour creed dosent matter at all.The Kindness towards people and the way of charity in Islam clearly indicated that it is the true religion so when the Kashmiri Hindus read and understood Islamic concept shedding their arrogance they accepted Islam.I for example am a Kashmiri Muslim and was Born in a Muslim family.I myself understood Islam only when I read quran and Sunnah myself and am trying to implement it on myself.Being born in a Muslim family is not enough.One has to himself search for truth same is the case with non Muslims.I after reading Quran can say as all other scholars commented from time to time."Quran is a book of Allah" no one even today cam make such a book.It is the word of God.Some people argue that quran has been corrupted but let me tell them that this is not possible as Allah said

Yet again Indian democracy and its farce of secularism is fully exposed when it gagged the voice of Kashmiri based media and in one day turned the already saturated valley of Kashmir with additional occupational troops changing the city of Srinagar into a garrison.Metal teen fencing of the roads leading towards Lal chowk only to prevent people to move towards Lal chowk for an unarmed march.The same Lal chowk where the first Prime Minister of India Nehru promised Kashmir a plebiscite under the United nations.Kashmiris wanted to remind the world the same promise which India has forgotten and world community has kept it un implemented.In a democracy if people stage protest non violent un armed is never attacked by troops with combat teargas shells, direct target killings of protestors.India as we all have seen again and again and again never considered Kashmiris its own citizens.In any true democracy if its people protest they are stopped with water cannons but India prefers Bullets to kill and silent the voice of oppressed Kashmiris who have been always shot by these occupational forces.

It allows fanatic Hindus to implement blockade of Kashmir by attacking any goods carrying vehicle going to Kashmir.They throw petrol bombs on such trucks.Beat to pulp the Muslim drivers, Hit them with Iron rods to kill them. Driver Lateef ahmed is an example of it.When Kashmiris stage un armed protest its occupation forces spray bullets on un armed people. Every one here can conclude what kind of Democracy is it.In Jammu Fanatic Hindus armed with swords iron roda three edged spears(Trishul)attack Muslim Gujjar Houses,Burn them.Police and army is a mute spectator. But in Kashmir even un armed protestors are fired upon why? Because Kashmiris want economic blockade to be lifted,Our babies are without milk, diabetic and hypertensive patients are without medicine. Insulin stock is ending. Dopamine a life saving drug for hospital use is not available .All this is of a well planned plan of India to slowly clean the ethnic Kashmiri Muslims so that it can settle its Hindu's in Kashmir as it did it in Jammu by giving houses of Muslims who were massacred in 1947.

This is specially for pandits.You Pandits never miss an opportunity to pour venom against Kashmiri Muslims.There is no need today to go and open the pages of History which is all re written by Hindu fanatics.I am a Muslim and let me tell you that it hardly matters for a Muslim Who he was before accepting Islamic Monotheisim.Your slander against Mir Syed Ali Hamodony,Sikander Buot shikan is base less.Islam has never been spreaded by sword or atrocities.Our Prophet(A.S) has not teached us that and no one can deny this fact that He(A.S)while taking Makkah back from the Idol worshippers he gave general amnesty to those who had persecuted killed Muslims and even He(A.S) was not spared. He forgave those non Muslims who killed His Daughter while she was leaving for Medina on a camel and was pregnant. They terrified her camel so much that she fell and died of internal bleeding. He (A.S) forgave those who killed His uncle Hamza (R.A) whose corpse was opened and his liver chewed and blood drinked. Nose and ears chopped off to make necklaces. The whole Makkah accepted this religion when they themselves saw the generosity and kindness of the Prophet(A.S) and Islam.We are a people of peace and followers of such a religion. It is advisable that you should first try to understand Islam yourself then only talk or comment. Even when Quran clearly Says In Surat Al Maida Ayat N0 45

أنَّ النَّفسَ بالنَّفسِ والعينَ بالعينِ والأنفَ بالأنفِ والأُذُنَ بالأُذُنِ والسِّنَّ بالسِّنِّ والجروحَ قصاصٌ فمن تَصدَّقَ به فهو كفَّارةٌ له ومن لم يحْكُم بما أنزَلَ الله فأولئك هم الظَّالمون

He(A.S) forgave them. He(A.S)could have easily ordered to kill all men women children or order to accept Islam. Islam doesn't accept forced conversion as the person is not accepting it by heart and will not be a Muslim and will be harm to believers. A Muslim is that person who accepts Islamic Monotheism accepts Mohammad (A.S) as a messenger of Allah. Who without any let or hindrance implements the Law of Islam on himself. If he does not He is a Hypocrite and Hypocrites cannot deceive Allah but only themselves.
Now about Kashmiri Muslims .May be you may have forgotten but let me remind you the aftermath of Oct 26 1947.Who saved Pandits in Kashmir from the Adventure of Tribals who reached up to Shalateng and Rambagh.If we would have hated you and wanted you guys to be wiped off then we would have joined the tribals.We were Kashmiri Muslims and fighted back our own Muslims who were gone astray at that time and wanted to kill Pandits.While in Jammu in mere 3 days Indian army jana sang and the Sikhs with the help of patiala forces matyred 300.000 Muslim mem women and children.We could have easily responded.But its the greatness of our religion and our Kashmiri roots which always lie in between.In 1990 it were you who were lured by India and puppet governor Jagmohan to leave valley so that he'll clean it from Muslims as he cleaned the muslim houses near Turkman gate in Delhi when he was Lt.Governor there.What was wrong when a spy of India was killed whether it was a pandit or Muslim.Spy has to be neutralized and it is done every where. Obviously You guys were more in such agencies so it had to happen. Muslim spy's also were killed without any discrimination .Take the case of Tehsin Billa he was blown off by Al umar.What was wrong when JKLF killed Neel kanth Ganjoo who being a Judge ordered Maqbool bhat to be Hanged in a fake case. Sikh spy's also were targeted but they never left the valley why? because they had no dubious intentions and they very well know the real face of Indian Democracy. Who Killed Sikhs in 1984.Also to add to your knowledge there is a colony of sikh widows in Delhi who were burnt alive in 1984.In chatisingh pora,Mehjoor Nagar who killed Sikhs to defame us but Sikhs know who the culprit was and remained with us.Also I wanted to add here despite Sikhs of not being kashmiris no one asks them to leave.It were the Hindus who since Kashmir was Sold were oppressing Kashmiri Muslims. We are the people who don't oppress and don't allow others to oppress us that's why you see Muslims struggling nowadays in many parts of the world.We have clear guidelines from God. Live with peace and Harmony but if someone Hurts you give him a befitting response.
You Batas every now and then tell people that you left property in Kashmir.Isn't it a fact that puppet Govt of J&K has made a law that all migrant property first will be assessed by the govt.and then only sold.You people sold it by your consent and the Govt.is witness to it so why you people lie. You say Your Temples were burnt. Show me one. Every temple has been occupied by The Occupational Forces of India. I once entered a temple in Channapora locality after taking a bath in the nearby river,The temple which was abandoned by forces , inside they had made it just as a cattle shed. Go and see that temple on the bank of Kita Kol on bypass at chanapora.We never occupied your houses by force. Whereas in Jammu Mosques were made shelter for cattle. Houses of Muslims were given to Hindu migrants from Sialkot and mirpur.We are not cheap as your people are. We are proud Muslims of kashmiri ethnicity.Even today if you guys will come we'll be happy to live together with you but without any more betrayals and mischief.Also don't cry that your community was targeted. DGP of police(J&K) told in a press conference, Who himself is a Pandit,Said 250 KP's and 100.000 Muslims were killed since the insurgency against Indian illegal occupation started in 1989.Believe me I had so many Pandit friends who also left valley. . Hindus in Jammu throwed petrol bombs on these two Muslim Drivers

In Jammu and Kashmir state India deals with the people according to their religion. In Jammu Fanatic extremist Hindu parties and their activists and the people of Jammu who being armed with swords trishuls( a three edged spear)petrol bombs, who torch lynch and cut Muslims and Muslim cops as well are given cold drinks by Indian Army and Hindu dominated Jammu police. they are given a free passage for attaching Offices of Kashmir based newspapers, Throw petrol bombs on the trucks of Muslim drivers plying on pathankot Srinagar highway. Who set on fire whole Gujjar (Muslim) huts in Jammu.Sambha,Kathua.Indian communal army watches them with pride and pats them.People like Brig.Suchet singh(retd) Who during the time of service took oath under secular constitution was found shoulder to shoulder assisting advising communal and fanatic Hindus how to attack and enforce economic blockade against Muslims of Kashmir,Doda,poonch, harass Muslims of Jammu region. If a person of such calibre and post in Indian army can be of dubious character what about the common solider of this army. After the events of Jammu it should be eye opener of everyone who harbour illusions about the secular fabric of Indian army. We remember that during Gujarat massacre of Muslims we were told that had there been army called out by George Fernandez ,Muslims could have been saved but time has proved it wrong. What is the difference now when in Gujarat an ex M.P (Muslim) is killed by throwing burning tyre on him ,his daughters stripped naked and burnt alive in the absence of Army, and fanatic Hindu youths who on riding a motorcycle throw petrol bombs on a Kashmiri Muslim truck driver who got burnt 90% and is waiting for death to overcome him as all the burnt people die of septicaemia. Sure death. This all was done in broad daylight in the presence of Hindu police and Secular army of India.Now the question arises how many Suchet singhs will be in the Indian army having masks of secularism on their face and when they get an opportunity to inflict harm to the Muslims they would be doing that without any let or hinderence.If Govt.of India wants to give an example to others then it should annulate the pension of this communal ex Brig.Take the medals if any from him as a punishment for defaming the army,otherwise this taint will remain on the army and secular fabric will be always disputed.
Now lets talk about what the same army does when they are in Kashmir.Unarmed protestors whose weapon is faith and trust in Allah,Who never pour venom against Hindus.Who consider Common man of Jammu their own.Who take Hindu piligrims on their shoulders to their place of worship high up in the mountains of Kashmir.Who at the time of the adventure of tribals in 1947 saved the Hindus in Kashmir only for their betrayal in 1990 when the same Hindus left valley in order to Give Jagmohan a free hand to Kill the Muslims in Kashmir which he did with full impunity.Freedom is a right of every Human being.Kashmiris who were betrayed and deceived by Sheikh Abdullah want freedom from Indian occupation and want use the right of self determination as promised to them by UN and the first prime Minister of India.When Kashmiris raise their voice against the oppression and ask for eroding the cease fire line so as to avoid confrontation with Hindu fanatics of Jammu, ask for freedom. The secular army of India spray them with bullets and such tear gas shells ( RUDRA )which are supposed to used during combat. Beat them with Bamboo sticks to pulp. In 21 century a protest rally in other parts of world is stopped by spraying water on the protestors so that no life is lost. But India doesn't consider Kashmiris their citizens which have been proven again again and again from 1947 till date. Why then kashmiris should consider themselves Indians ?. In Kashmir when people protest army gets so frustrated that they enter residential houses and beat the immates break windows, Molest women.
The cold blooded killings of last two days have revealed again the real face of secular India and its secular army.Kashmiris who were caught between a rock and hard place by the economic blockade were just trying to get their Just voice heard by the higher authorities of India. If govt. of India would had clamped curfew in the city as soon as the time of March towards Muzzaffarabad was announced we would have understood that all this is done in good faith but Unfortunately The occupational forces have long ago tasted the blood of unarmed Kashmiris and they want to taste it again and again.The unknown graves in Kashmir. The fake encounters.Criminal attacks on ambulances and doctors who were transporting injured.Beating women and children have again proven the dubious attitude of Indian army and its sister forces towards Kashmiris.Now it’s a high time for kashmiri's to understand that its do or die situation now and as we all know that Independence from Indian occupation cannot be a reality until we all fight together against those who have deprived us of it fro centuries.We must listen to our leaders and act as per their command so as to get success.May god Help Kashmiris.
