This is not the first time media has totally turned blind eye to Kashmir issue and on going human rights violation in that part. Mr. Omar, instead of trying to cover up the whole incident should order and probe into this by the central investigation agency. This kind of horrible atrocities committed by security forces, motivates the young generation to take up arms against them and go into militancy. There have been cases in Manipur state where these personnel have arrested women on suspicion of aiding the terroists and raped and killed them. How long are these so called security personnel going to be allowed to freely rape and murder in the far off states?Why is the rest of India giving this step-motherly treatment to these states? Aren't these states a part of India too?If India isn't able to ensure care and safety to these states, then let them go-give them their independence. When the media can bring to the nation news like the falling of a boy into a manhole, how can such a grave issue that has evoked massive protests and complete shutdown for a week all accross Kashmir be ignored? Is it because it is about the people of the "integral part" of the country who seem to be ignored because their sentiment and dignity does not matter?
