Since the uprising against the Illegal occupation of Kashmir started lot of our country men fell to the bullets of the occupational army , I after reading the family conditions of the people who lost their lives, I felt a need to help these family's as much as possible. I think that the people living abroad Kashmir NRK's should now come forward to generously contribute to this cause.These days we all Muslims are fasting and asking Allah to forgive our sins. It is a high time to show love and kindness towards those who sacrificed their lives so that tomorrow Inshallah we and our coming generations will live free from the oppression and subjugation.I think we all must approach individually to each of those family's and enquire about their needs and try to provide financial assistance to them.We can contact the Mohalla committee of such family's also if we don’t want to approach them directly.The family of Late Ghulam Rasool Khan of Kupwara is and should be an example for Kashmiris .His one son attained martyrdom while fighting the occupational forces , second lost his hand while fighting the same occupational army ,Third Manzoor Ahmad khan, who was brutally shot in Baramullah on Friday 12/09/2008 .Sara ,the mother of Manzoor Ahmad, husband expired last year , the bread winning task was on Manzoors shoulders,. Manzoors mother Sara begum who is now of 80 yr's of age with a handicapped son and an unmarried daughter is looking towards us Kashmiris. It is our job to to take care of this great lady and her family. Sara is asking who will get now Manzoors un married sister married.This is a question for all of us and if we will remain mute spectators to this then no Kashmiri mother will think of allowing her sons to fight for the Kashmir's cause. If we really love Kashmir and our people irrespective of our position ,We should come forward at all levels to help the affected family's so that they will not say that the nation forgot us..

I agree this is something we should have started taking care of years ago. Thousands of orphans and kids, thousand s of broken families whose bread earners are still missing. It needs concerted and comprehensive efforts which should be sustained.
I think it is a very good idea to start it at the level of mohallas, so that people and families are not missed. There are some mohalla committees who are taking care of these people, but it ought be widespread and more organised and needs input from the civil society.
Not only nor resident Kashmiris, everyone in Kashmir who is capable of donating should contribute.
Please use your zakat money for these needy.
The coordination committee and Hurriyat should make it a point to take steps to address this issue which has been ignored so far.We cannot and should not expect government to help us here.
It should ne emphasized that these orphans need education like our own kids, that should not be ignored.
One should find ways to employ widows wherever possible.
I ma sure there are other people to suggest, but if it becomes organised it will be better.

I am surprised that there isnt such a thing in place till now. I always felt that we, the people, are the movement. It is upto us to make sure the next of kin of those who sacrificed their life for our freedom are taken care of. We have to come up with a transparent system where all the funds collected go straight for the benefit of the next of kin of the martyrs.
Since Hurriyat is already on the forefront, I appeal to Mirwaiz Umar and Geelani Sahib to introduce a fund, whereby people from all over the world are able to contribute into, and 100% of this fund will be distributed among the next of kin of the martyrs. Hurriyat will only handle the distribution of the money and 100% of this fund will go to these families.
It is just a matter of opening a bank account "in trust" at JK bank and people will simply be able to transfer money electronically to this account. In order for someone to withdraw money, it will need signatures of 4-5 trustees.

Indeed I am also surprised to find that there is no such system still on place to help our people who have lost their loved ones in the struggle of Freedom from India. It should have been in place long before.What are our leaders doing? If they want the people to come out on the streets and raise their voice then they have to take care of those also who will be affected by the brutality of occupational army. All they need to do is to make a trust within Hurriyat premisis at rajbagh or any feasible place. This trust should consist of non political people ,and open an account in J&K bank on its name, as you have mentioned. Then a movement should be started to fill this account by asking people from every nick and corner to contribute. Let every masjid or mohalla commitee collect from their locality and then deposit it. People will contribute whole heartily for this.Also once we'll start taking care of each other and people will be sure that in case something happens to them Nation will take care of their families. The outpour in the rallies against Indian occupation will be massive and record breaking. Also with this money we can fight in Supreme Court for those who have been put under bars in fabricated cases. This will boost the struggle for freedom. Now the question is who will tell our leaders about this. If anyone reading this blog has any contact with Geelani sahab or any other Leader
Kindly tell them about the need of such a trust.also people living outside Kashmir also can electronically transfer their contribution for this just cause.We should always remember of the death who will take over all of us and then we will answer for our deeds.The money we have today will not be of any help if we during our lifetime will not spent it as Allah has asked us to spend.
