After watching closely the mass peaceful demonstrations of the people of Kashmir for the freedom from India and the reaction that followed in India. I found people of India are being misled and taken on a ride by the enemies of Kashmir. It's very unfortunate that a common man in India doesn't know about the history of Kashmir, they consider it as any other part where as the UN considers Kashmir as a disputed area.When I say Kashmir it means whole Kashmir as it was on 27th oct 1947 when on that ill fated day Indian occupational troops put their feet on our pious soil.Jammu Ladakh are a part of Kashmir and not a separate entity. There is a lot of propaganda going on about that Kashmiris want freedom only for valley .No! we want our country back as it was before it was occupied by both India and Pakistan.
Lot of fuss is being created by the people in India about Kashmiris holding Pakistani flags. I feel pity on these people who cannot distinguish between a Pakistani flag and any other Muslim country flag. Lot of people have written in this regard ,I think it is worth to post photo of Pakistani flag and other green flag. I hope it will help to some extent pacify those communal people who say Kashmiris want to merge with Pakistan. Kashmiris don’t want to remain slaves of Both India and Pakistan that’s why the slogan IS PAAR BHI LENGE USPAAR BHI LENGE AAZADI is taking momentum.

It made me so happy to see that we kashmiris have a flag of our own.Like most of the kashmiri people i was not aware of this fact that we have a flag in kashmir.I always thought it is the pakistani flag which we will have to carry on when insha allah we will be free and independent.I am a regular reader of ur blogs.All ur blogs are worth admiring and reading.You have succeded in lot of extent to open and expose the brutal face of india to the people who have aceess to the net and who can read ur blogs TO KNOW WHAT INDIA IS DOING WITH WE KASHMIRIS .I have a pleasure to read about the comments which readers send you.About the comments of Pomposh i have to say that the person whosoever he is has little knowledge about kashmir and the history sourrounding kashmir .The person needs to know more on his motherland which he claims so. He has been studded and constructed with with anti muslim knowledge.HE IS FILLED WITH FACTS AND BELIEFS ABOUT HIS MOTHERLAND KASHMIR WHICH ARE MILES AND MILES AWAY FROM REALITY .He is not ready TO ACCEPT THE HARSH realities about what india is doing in kashmir.He just knows that because of kashmiri muslims and for the independence muslims want from india , they ( kashmiri hindus )had to leave kashmir But the ground reality is that they left kashmir so that they can save themselves as india had decided to be worst with kashmiri people.

It is very surprising that you being a Kashmiri don't know that we have a separate flag of Ours flying on the top of the main govt.buildings such as civil secretariate etc.About the distinction between Pakistani flag and the green flags which Kashmiri protestors were holding is the said white stip on the side of Pakistani flag.This is a good effort to show in photos as otherwise people will always take the green flags as Pakistani flags.

Great Job Brother, Keep it up. Even thoug the present official flag of Kashmir is separate but it reeks of the influence of NC. Inshaalah it has to be changed to the other proposed one.
I an trying to collect all the photographs regarding the atrocities committed on us by Indian forces. Plz send all photos depicting the same to theburningkashmir@gmail.com. Also tell other Kashmiris about the same as we should present the same in a proper album. Plz mention about the actual source so that due credits are given.

Sir i would like to clearify myself regarding my comments .What i am pointing towards is the `PROPOSED FLAG OF FREE KASHMIR` that is the green flag without white strip. I am not pointing about the `PRESENT OFFICIAL FLAG OF KASHMIR ` that is the red flag. Red flag we are knowing since we realised that we are kashmiri and we have this red flag .Sir how can you expect that being a kashmiri i am not aware of this red flag , you have misinterpreted my comments as every kashmiri atleast knows this red flag if they dont know anything.

I agree Kashmir issue has gotten virtually NO attention from the world. (Not that I care for the world at this point, it's the awareness that needs to be created.) I am a Pakistani (born in Lahore) and I sympathize, empathize with every human that has suffered through the hands of aggressors. I wish for a free Kashmir. I realize you don't want to be a part of Pakistan, rather a free nation just like Muslims in India once dreamed of and mA achieved, but please do not fail to mention to your people the achievement of Azad Kashmir.
India, indeed, is not a 'secular' state - rather, one that is good at hiding it's aggression.
